Happy shopping!

OP. They were $570 shipped last deal?

    • +1

yeah not sure how many people will be keen to pay more than last time. this is ozbargain, after all (and, for that matter, tech usually decreases in price over time…)

    • I got mine for $522 :) dunno where you got $570 from?

      • +1

some got it for 475 last time, after 5% coupon!

        • Yes because some lucky bastard offered seller $500 and got instantly accepted, then use the 5% coupon.

        • +1

Will definitely buy if it is 500 bucks, I have just upgraded my old laptop with samsung ssd, so if seller offered 500, I will pull the trigger!

        • @HarveySpecter:
instantly accepted as the seller was a bit desperate to sell, after seller sold many copies, price were increased. Although many offered about 300, so 500 seems to be the minimum seller would accept.

        • @htc: Well not long after that the seller blocked the minimum $500 and changed it to $550

I still think $630 is a pretty good deal, I would buy another one if I have to.

        • @HarveySpecter:

          I think at least about 4 - 5 people got it for 500, then pick5, 475

        • @htc:

We took a hit on those, new person running eBay and made an error which we were too late to pickup as we got smashed in that 2 hour window.

        • @HarveySpecter:
You forgot the cash rewards, but yes very lucky bastard indeed, would laugh if they were the one to have listed it back for $900.

        • I tried the coupon free01, so deduct 15 bucks, so 630 includes delivery, so after coupon, becomes 615?

        • @davel:
But I must say, after seeing people can list it for 900, it will be hard to sell it for less than 600.

        • @davel: FYI, The person that re-listed it back for $900 didn't end up selling it.

        • @htc:
          Yes thats correct

        • @davel:

Wow, your last deal definitely got the publicity and made it to the front page of ozbargain. Due to bargain mentally hard to accept a higher price than previous. The low price last time definitely push people to buy a laptop, including those who may not need a new laptop.

        • @htc:
Haha its a bit bittersweet as it made it for the wrong reasons, but lets see if we can make it happen again, have more to shift in next few weeks.

        • @davel: Thats gonna be a bit rough for the buyers that paid 600 :'(

    Well noted gents.
The last deal was partly pricing error on our side which we honoured.
This round the cost per unit was higher unfortunately, but we believe its still below the market price for such a machine.

If I'm not mistaken one of the users bought one from us, used the same photos and description and relisted on eBay for $900.

  • Have you got any Optiplex 9020 left??

    • New lot of Optiplex 9020 coming soon.

      • Hopefully they last till I get home. Sucks having these 20% off deals while I'm at work :(

      • where can I see a list of products on offer?

        • On our site which you can visit via the link in the title area.
We don't list everything, eBay has more items but we will update the site with good deals (or what we consider to be good deals)

        • @davel: are the optiplex with windows home or pro? And will they have warranty?

        • @davel: got a link to the ebay store? couldn't find it by googling

  • Hi, is it same as last time, business grade warranty?

    • +1

Correct they are Elitebooks so under next avail service tech warranty from HP

      • How many units do you have available?

        • We have another 50

  • Just did 80% of 630 = 504, if seller participate in the ebay 20% deal, I will pull trigger!

    • Haha honestly if we could get invited to the eBay deal we would happily do so!

  • got one. laptop is good but this is not ultra light laptop. still good. many ports. just check the youtube there are plenty. oh and the condition are good too, cant tell it is second hand unless micro looking at each mm square. got it at 570 but did the TRS return so around 500 nett yeah wish paid 475 instead haha.

also, the seller is good. that is important point as you dont want to deal with cheap stuffs from scammers

    • Thanks for your kind words….
Yes not the lightest but business grade notebooks are never away, focused on build quality hence their prices are much higher new than a comparable model built for the retail market.

      • just to clear up, if you used to normal 2.5kg 15.6" laptop then this will be LIGHT.
if you used to carry ipad mini then this is not light.

        • +1

If people think this laptop is heavy at 1.6Kg needs to seriously go to the gym.

  • cheaper if we picked up? cash?

    • just fyi location easy access by bus if you dont drive.

    • yes, of course, we locate at Botany area

    • Hi all,

Ive requested to the guys to update the listing to $600 per unit paid via cash on collection or by bank transfer instead of paying Paypal fees.
We will update it shortly, but please continue through checkout and if you wish to pay via cash/transfer please contact us and we will fix it up on the backend.

      • It would be good if the same price is offered again 570, 600 after 5% off ebay deal. And offer further discount if pay by cash and local pick up.

        • +1

Would love to but then again we get bitten by FVF on eBay, i would assume most people here would prefer to save the $20+

  • Do these come with Win 10 Home or Pro?

    • Win 10 Pro

  • FYI were just trying to use our site rather than eBay for some of these deals.

Nice computer stock, but you've got a near-unusable Wix-based website:
    * Nil accessibility
    * Over a dozen webservers contacted, a hundred objects loaded, just to see the homepage, the shop's not much better
    * Tracking, analytics, UI elements fading and sliding in and out as you scroll or hover
    * Try browsing it with NoScript and see how far you get

Thanks, well noted were looking at changing the whole setup due to these concerns, was never intended to be used as a retail outlet but due to the demand and fees from previous sales & eBay we decided to move it and pass on the savings.

      • Thanks for the sympathetic ear.

We love to hate MSY's website, for example, but for the purposes of sales or sharing information:
        * it is downright elegant compared to anything from Wix
        * all praise http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf , searchable, static, cures most ills

  • Wow, is that a VGA port?

And is that USB C on the other side? And a DIsplay Port?

That is an interesting port selection.

    • Business grade book

Having shopped with the seller via ebay a number of times (but missed out on the laptop offering) - given the number of e-waste refurbished sellers and the sheer quantity they handle - his/her listings were always concise with the key points being highlighted (no more no less) and also less usage of a template or stock photos.

my go-to seller as his nominated courier service is great too (hunter Express.

from a buyer's viewpoint though (given we're all ozbargainers) the appeal of buying off you on ebay still stacks (recent ebay gift card deal plus PICK5 code plus cashrewards plus QFF/velocity and potential to use PP credit card points earnt on purchase) fair overweighs the reduction provided from buying direct.

Not the seller's problem but certainly something of a substantial real cash savings (given the purchase consideration is $600) when you use the stack mentioned via ebay.

Perhaps a middle ground could be achieved?

    • Thanks for those kind words…

We try to be as transparent as possible to all customers regardless where they are sourced from.

Would be happy to post to eBay again especially if they would include us in the events such as the 20% rebate. (and no we wouldn't jack up prices)

At the end of the day were still a noob on the retail side, and these HP's come with business grade manufacturer warranty which is perfect for buyer peace of mind.

Any middle ground were happy to explore/hear, just need to be realistic as on a $600 item eBay FVF + PayPal fees are quite high which we were trying to pass on rather than adding on.

Once again thanks for the kind words, quite happy to get that kind of feedback as never knew we had a following like that!

  • Excellent warranty. Is that the original warranty or is that HP refurb warranty.

    • the original warranty
