    How is 60hz classified as a gaming monitor?

    • Refresh rate is only one metric of what would determine a monitor to be gaming or not I guess. Plenty of other nice stats to have (based on your metric we could use a 20 year old 120hz CRT monitor and call it gaming?)

      • For a lot of games hz is a major major part of whether a monitor is any good for gaming though. For me and my set up, a gaming monitor must have Freesync and at least 144hz. I play a lot of games like PUBG and CSGO where the speed matters. My next monitor will be 27in 1080p Freesync 240hz.

        • what card are you running?
          Doesnt Radeon still have a lot of driver issues?

        • Nonetheless, its still just ONE metric of what makes a good monitor. If that 144hz monitor was fast, but image quality was awful, or there was viewing angle issues, probably wouldn't mean much for gaming either.

          Fact is, for majority of games, for the majority of gamers, anything at 1080p60 is usually just fine.

          @Peannut:
          RX 580 8GB card. The drivers are very good now. I got no problems at all.

    Depends what games you're playing… Tetris would look amazing on this monitor.
