That's not correct. 2 burgers is much better value than 1 burger, chips and drink. I.e BOGOF burger is better than the same burger with free drink & chips.
If you add up the value of the ingredients of the two deals, 2 burgers comes out way ahead. Fries are a low value item and drink is practically worthless.
Eating two burgers will give you more calories and better quality calories (win/win) for sure rather than more cheap carbs.
Of course the voucher deals are not technically BOGOF (slightly more expensive) but 2 burgers still comes out way ahead.

As soon as I saw the $3 meal go up to $3.45 now I thought here we go. It was damn cheap anyway but percentage wise thats a big increase even though its only 45c. Just like the pancakes used to be $2 then all of a sudden $3 a 50% increase! HJ still better value than mcdonalds by far if u ask me.
You can change tendercrisp chicken to grilled chicken. Just ask at the counter when showing them the voucher. I tried before, but few years back. That’s how long i had missed out the greatness of HJ burgers!
Their grilled chicken burgers imo one of the most memorable ones! Same as their fries nowadays! Makes me want to go back for more!

Burger king give you the satchels of tomato sauce chilli sauce extra salt but Australia never have. It might be easier to let people drive their own salt portions to their liking + I like tomato sauce on my chips or fries.
I really can't complain about the price jacking! I mean, a bacon and egg muffin, a hashbrown AND a coffee for $3? COME ON! 50c will buy you a hashbrown from the deli at a supermarket, the muffin? 40c? egg? 25c? bacon? 20c? coffee? 50c? That's about $2! Would of been bugger all profit in it for them!
Get off your arse and hit the gym, hard.. you can smash twice the calories. :)

they hope you will buy a drink and chips to go with the multiple burgers and drink and chips are high margin items. that’s why i’d rather one burger and get drinks and chips with a meal then 2 burgers
