these were ~350 back in November

    • also it's vr1 not vr2, the listing doesn't say which one lol

  • Yeh was ~350 with skyrim VR as well. This is expensive.

  • Thanks OP, you're making me feel mighty fine about my 330 purchase of this, and a copy of Skyrim I sold for 50 the next day.

  • which version are the selling?

  • Individually they are $650?

No they are not. Even on launch they weren't that expensive. This is pretty expensive deal because I picked up one with 2 games and v2 camera for $350 on Black Friday.

    • not aussie stock/waranty tho right?

      • Yes it is a grey import but I wouldn't be too concerned. It's compatible with the Australian power standard and a travel adaptor is included.

As for warranty, eglobal must comply with the Australian Consumer Guarantee. That's the price of doing business in Australia. Selling a grey import does not relieve a company of their obligations under law irrespective of where they're operating from. The only downside is (should it fail) you will need to send it away as opposed to just returning it to a local B&M store for repair, replacement, or refund.

i needed to buy this for a present. so at least i saved $55. Annoyingly, despite the overwhelming number of $350-$400 bundles just before christmas, they had all vanished come january when i started looking for a deal. not a single bundle beyond the $550 one from an australian seller in sight for 6 weeks solid of searching.

none of the bundles on the major retailers say whether its V2 or not. I'm quite annoyed that they could sell a bundle for $350 with the old camera model and a big name game and then sell the same thing with a demo game you have to download even, no disc for $550 without that bundle at least having the new camera in it.

but what you gonna do when your SO is turning 40 and you gotta go big.

    • I think Sony sold the PS VRs for stupid cheap at the end of last year to clean out old stock. It was also to give the whole VR scene a direct shot in the arm……which it certainly did.

I'm about to drop $550 on a VR setup…….so I feel your pain.

You have to laugh at the people you just know bought the thing last year for 350 and are now selling used on Gumtree for $500. Yeah no thanks, I'll just grab a new then.
