      No, Dell Swarm only have limited quantity on their items so its appropriate to post here.

      I don't see any reason to let other customers use up valuable stock that ozbargainers can and will be purchasing.

    There is a total of 50 on offer, if this is posted when it is active (minimum 35 buyers for it to be active), there will only be 15 left when it's visible to ozbargain members… that's far too late

    The general rule with group buy sites is to wait until active. But with these Dell swarms, their active number is close to their sell out number something other group buy sites don't have. On the other hand, a good portion of the Dell swarms never went active so many of these deals may amount to nothing.

    I'll keep this one up as a trial unless another mod feels different.

        Cheers, so if I understand:

        If there are 50 items for sale in that swarm, then Dell sends out 50 emails offering the deal to the lucky people who have 'bought'. You then get the choice to actually purchase the item if you get the email?

        I'm only asking because normally for these group-buy sites you have to commit (by giving credit card details etc) when you "buy" and then you actually get charged only if the deal becomes live. But I didn't give any payment details when I signed up, only my email…

      The model is IXUS-105IS. Whatever letters after that is just to denote the colour. For example, "S" means "Silver" colour. There are a few colours for the IXUS-105IS model. Aqua, Pink and Brown. Only the Silver colour is on this special price I believe.
