I am sure Lenovo can and will repeat the $1092 "DEALS" last month. However, personally I prefer the $874 "DEALS" E480 i5-8250U model. But I am still concerned about the 60C to 70C excessive heat problem under load as mentioned in this review https://www.notebookcheck.net/ThinkPad-E480-i5-8250U-RX-550-…

Could someone who bought these new e480 recently comment on the excessive temperature issue?

Edit: It seems the heat problem associated with the model with the AMD graphics which this particular E480-i5 model mentioned above does not have, but the E480-i7 does.

However, personally I prefer the $874 "DEALS" E480 i5-8250U model.

I was just looking at the i5 model and I clicked the Customize button to add it to cart but it redirected to a dead page.

After going back to the initial page, the price is now $965.53!

      • Oh really! Can you create your own deal and show us how to get that price please.

That would be a good price, and a good deal.

        • I'm not quite sure if I understand your reply.

        • @Lorindor: I assume you meant the E480-i7 for $965.53, because I still see it at $1188

        • @Max2010:

I was actually referring to the i5 model, hence why I quoted that part of your original comment.

        • @Lorindor: Ok, point taken. Thanks
