    Do you need a truck?

    • yes still looking for one.

      Thanks for noticing.

  • +3

    The good one

    • which one?

      • +5

        That one.

        • Yeah… that one is the best.

        • Last time I used that one. It wasn't working well. So I had to move to the other one.

        • @jsbhatia:

i've now had to move to the third one because the other one had slow speeds on redtube

        • @terminal2k:

You should really try the best one.

I'm assuming you are located in along the northern border of Akmole region in Kazakhstan. so your best and only provider is Kazakhtelecom

    What's with the trolls?

You probably need to give us more details OP. Do you have a (Optus/Telstra) cable to your house? Is NBN available in your area? How much data do you use? How important is speed/cost to you?

    • Yes there is NBN. It is a new house. Speed has to be fast and cost has to be less. Any promotions or discounts would be great. I am here to save my money.

      Thank you very much

    • +11

it's not trolling, they are expressions of frustration by the total lack of any detail in the OPs post.

it's seen time and time again in forum posts which provide no detail by the OP

"I need internet" - i need internet for my new house.
"i need car" - I'll use it to drive.
"suggest a holiday" - what do people recommend.

help yourself by helping others to help you.

"I need internet" - I live in Edmondson park (40 kms south-west of the Sydney central business district), could people assist with suggestions for a fixed connection. I've checked the NBN site and NBN is available (Or, I've checked NBN site and it will be available in September 2022). Only telstra (or only Optus) provide service to my area). I only want internet, fixed phone line is unnecessary.

see?, not hard. not hard at all.

you've made 6 posts in the last 12 months and they have all been about the process you moving in to your new house….. in edmondson park.

          it's not hard.

just like looking for a internet service provider.

    I love that dirty talk..

      :)

      • I use iiNett have always been good support.
steer clear of Belong. 2 weeks to get a NBN connection.

  • Family + friends and ethernet cable.

  • None, although I have hired a small man who runs and prints out the sections of the internet I'd like to read.

    • why small man? Can't afford Usain Bolt? ;)

    • Do you use the small man all the time? Perhaps he could "job-share" and print out parts of the internet for me too.

Way to give us absolutely no information which might help - what kind of connection you want, how much data you want, how much you want to pay etc. Ask a crap question and you can expect crap answers.

  • Well with NBN, the speed comes down to two things.
    Congestion and physical infrastructure

To get less congestion you go with an ISP like AussieBB who should have minimal congestion, but they may be a bit pricier and do have data caps.

Otherwise if you need unlimited and cheap go for something like TPG. But chances are you'll be hit with slowdowns due to congestion

I'm happy with skymesh. Was a little frustrating when I had to reset modem every few hours, but when I changed plan from 100mbps to 50, that was resolved. They let you upgrade or downgrade online any time you like, with options for just for rest of month etc.

Oh, but don't try to use the off-peak bonus. Once it's consumed, you use up your peak quota. Then you can buy an extra G for $2 and repeat a couple of times a day until resets at end of month.

But what impressed me was when I forgot to disconnect before moving house. I submitted a request to cancel, and they rang to say supposed to give 30 days notice. They suggested that I suspend account, and reconnect at new address.
So they gave me a refund for last couple of days of last billing cycle, and I'll reconnect at a new house without cost.

    • I am also with Skymesh and they are good enough. I only have been with TPG previously, which was terrible, so almost anything should be better than TPG.
I find the speed and the price reasonable. We have sort of a mid range plan.
Very importantly, Skymesh have excellent customer service. We have had to call them a few times and it’s always fixed with one phone call. A few times when we have run out of data (we are not unlimited) we were able to ring and easily just upgrade the plan for one month, then drop back down to our original plan the next month. Actually, after that happened, when our plan DIDN’T revert back to our cheaper plan, we got charged an extra month at the higher rate. We called them and they gave us that month price difference as credit, and also gave us an additional month on the upgraded plan for free. They have given us extra data for free a couple of times, they hand it out willy nilly if the problem is on their end.

TL;DR +1 for Skymesh and their customer service.

  • try some of the comparison sites like whistleout.com.au and talk to their people to get some initial ideas clarified.

That's nice. How long is a piece of string? You're going to need to provide more info if you want relevant answers.

Alternatively, this is a regularly-asked question in these forums and a search might give you some quick answers on what you're looking for.

      • +2

You can determine the length of the piece of string by measuring the distance between the two cans…

        • +2

c'mon dude, there's enough phone deals in here to ditch that device already!

        • +3

Two cans and a piece of string…….

          Describes our NBN perfectly!

    • I have Optus Cable running at 30mbs down and 2mbs up. I pay $90 a month but can drop it down to $60 if I don't want Fetch TV. It is all unlimited as well as home phone usage.

      • As above with speedpack 100/40 for $95

    • +2

      I have no internet

    • I <3 TPG

    • Optus has $60/month unlimited. Telstra has $80/month for 1000GB. 1TB is basically unlimited for me. Is paying the extra Telstra tax worth it?

      • what speed

    • +1

I'm with BuzzTelco 12/1Mbps unlimited for $19m, nothing has gone wrong and I'm very happy with it.
The lowest the speed has dropped is 9.5Mbps that was at about 6pm.

      • +1

I'm so jealous, still stuck with tpg adsl2+ paying $60 a month.

        • Your stalking me!!😍😘

          Ouch.
I read an Ozbargainer's comment that buzz's special of $19m was below cost of $37m.

  • Thank you all.

Just signed up with TPG $60/month. unlimited internet with 11 mbs speed and get 3 months of free phone (no lock in contract)which includes 100 mins international call.

Thats a win win for me.
