      There are ABC stations on DAB+ and many more than on AM, just have a look at their website.

Nice thanks. I've found that these radios produce good quality output if you connect them to an amplifier. With the 10% coupon I got from a promo booth at Westfields a couple of weekends ago, I can bring the price down to $45.

Edit: AFAICT from searches this unit doesn't have an earphone socket.

    everything works well, finally no more static from 3aw & abc…only minus is that the max sound output is not very loud…
