Hot Kid Red Shelly Senbei Want Want 150gm - $2.25 (50% off)

    Expires sometime September. 3 left

    • OOS. Sounded very cool, but just fancy rice crackers

      • +2

        Did you want want it?

        • The want want was enticing, but every word in that product name is a cracker

      • My asian treat, I love it. Didn't buy it though because I've had enough with sweets (it's a sweet cracker)

    • +1

      took 2, thanks :)

    • Aw man missed it again

      • @peppet I wouldn't be too disappointed, it seems to have lots of sugar content (x2 mentions of sugar in the ingredients list, and also syrup and honey too) - a 45g serving contains about 25-30% of a recommended adult daily intake.

    • all gone.

    • Are amazon allowed to ship stock already past its best before date? I bought something the other day that was advertised as 07/22 best before. When received it says best before 05/22.

      • I'm not sure. Never had a delivery where the product already expired. BUT I do realise everytime I buy food products (not from the warehouse) the expiry date is very very near. I wonder why.

With grocery items, just let them know through a quick live chat and you'll get a full refund or exchange, and maybe even promo credits if you ask :)

Grocery items are not allowed to be posted back to Amazon, so they're kinda forced to refund or replace at the very least, even if the item is $100+

        • +3

They would have a system where they ship out oldest stock first. With the more popular items like coke cans, you wouldn't have that issue. It would be mainly the items that aren't so popular as they would sit in the warehouse for a while before getting sold.

Live chat was great, gave me a refund instantly.

          • @brandogs: Good to hear, and good to know.

FYI the spring water ^^ expires sometime next year so it was a good deal imo

Merged from Seagate Game Drive for Xbox 2TB Portable HDD $24 @ TheGoodGuys
    Go to Deal

Found it in The Good Guys Nunawading. The cheapest 2TB HDD I have ever seen. I grabbed the last two. Hopefully the other stores will match the price.

    • In store only ?

    • +1

Yes these are shuckable. Easily too. Assuming nothing major has changed in later iterations of them.

      • What does shuckable mean?

        • +8

Take the actual HDD out of the casing to use internally. Like shucking an oyster.

        • +4

Take the drive out of the case…Like an oyster.

          • @whitelie: I wondered what the etymology of the term shucked was, now I know!

        • +2

Remove the hdd from the enclosure

        • +3

Essentially, you can remove the drive and use in other devices

        • +2

It refers to taking out an external HDD out of its casing to use it as an internal drive in a computer or putting it into another more generic case (eg with a USB connection).

        • +2

Ability to take the HDD out of the enclosure. Not be confused with Shuckable Apparel which is a clothing brand that is "fun, edgy brand from the gracious waters of Old Town Charleston".

        • +3

To avoid any injuries to yourself (or any damaged oysters), don't rush. Shucking is a skill that takes time to master. Place a damp cloth under your chopping board to stop it moving around. You don't necessarily need an oyster-shucking glove. Wrapping a clean tea towel around the oyster should provide enough of a barrier between flesh (yours, that is) and knife. You can also create a fold with the tea towel and tuck the fingers of your non-shucking hand into this for extra protection. Oysters are easier to open if they've been buried under ice for half an hour before you open them

Now that you know how to shuck an oyster, remove the enclosure from the HDD.

    • very cheap

    • +1

Can use for PS4 or ps5 or PC as well.

    • +3

      You grabbed the last 2.

      • +10

Well at least OP got the "0" part of "minimum 10" rule to post a deal.

    • +9

      11 upvotes, for what reason?

      • +3

sheep just randomly upvote its weird

        • +2

It’s a killer deal if you just looked at the title. It’s not until you read the post you realise there’s probably none left

    • Works with XSX?

      • +1

It's a regular run of the mill ordinary HDD with a little xbox logo on it. It will be fine.

Edit* True, as next comment points out, it's not an SSD, you can't play XsX games from it.

      • As expandable storage to play from NO. as something to copy games off to and back to XSX yes.

    • +6

genuine question - OP took the last 2 they were aware of, and has just speculated that others may price match, based on this photo? And this is getting upvoted and top on my front page? I'm kinda confused. Isn't there supposed to be a minimum quantity actually available??

      • +1

Maybe other TGG stores have it? Best call before taking a trip out to them though
As for upvoted to front page. Likely voted just on title without looking reading the description
You definitely can’t price match a clearance item out of stock otherwise

    • Do we expect same price in store? I don't think other TGG stores will match it.

    • Maybe some in Bendigo and Brighton store.
Deleted item - that's why it's on clearance.

      Good luck

    • You should be allowed to neg if you drive to the goodguys and they laugh at you, to even out the mindless upvoting, but your neg will be revoked

    • +1

You picked up the last 2, and posted this as a deal??

      • Was thinking the same thing. Unlikely any other store will price match now the OP has caused them to be out of stock!

      • Yea. Thanks for sharing.

    • No stock no deal.

    • Nothing left but bragging rights about this “deal”

    • +2

If your organisation utilises Intune to lock down Teams access, you wont be able to use one of these. Tried and failed :(

      • +3

Yeah, problem of this kind of device, they won't keep up when MS update their system.

        • It's an AOSP tablet running the Teams Android client… it'll stay up to date as long as MS keeps updating Teams for Android.

    • +1

      Android version - AOSP 8.1 (2GB Ram)

ThinkSmart View is not intended to be a smart home device; it is designed for business use, is intended to be managed and updated by an enterprise's IT department, and requires a commercial license from Microsoft.

      • +1

Yep, it would require a Teams Room license, so not as useful as a lot of people think it will be.

Looks like stock was fairly low this morning too, spread all over NSW/QLD

    • $39? price error?

      • +1

        $39? Reading error?

        • Good luck with $390!

Google review :"Never received the item. Emailed and called with no response ever"

          • @SeekBargain2009:

            Good luck with $390!

Oh you were serious. Nah, it really is $390. Peak Design is popular with the photography crowd, they make high-quality products with pretty clever designs.

Those kind of prices aren't uncommon to photographers, e.g. this cuboid for $489 or this shoulder bag for $309.

Google review :"Never received the item. Emailed and called with no response ever"

What, a google review for Amazon?
