    • There are 11 units available at Bunnings Maddington, but the saleswoman isn't willing to sell it for $99. She firmly stated that despite it being a discontinued item, she won't sell it below $219. The Maddington and Cannington stores are only 2 kilometers apart. Oh Well I tried.

      • Same she was quite vocal about it too !

    • No such luck either @ Caroline Springs VIC (10 on display), manager mentioned they would only reduce further if they were down to their last 1 or 2 to clear space.

Also pointed to a price policy print out saying they do not match other Bunnings stores.

    • $219 hoppers crossing vic yesterday :(

For those who aren’t looking to get a GPU and just use the onboard graphics built into the CPU, look for a combo with the Ryzen 5 5600G that has an iGPU

      • -1

Wait until the end of the month for the 8600G to be released, as long as you're on AM5.

        • The 8600G by itself would cost more than this bundle

          • @BROKENKEYBOARD: $336 retail…. what's a cheap board worth though?

I also see ITX boards with the 5600G on Ali atm for just over $200 AUD.

            • @Oofy Doofy: Can you provide a link? That sounds dodgy unless it's refurbished items

              • @BROKENKEYBOARD: Have a look on there, you might get lucky. I realise it doesn't matter what you type on there, they won't bring up what you're looking for without it being convoluted.

                You'll find it.

    • +2

Not so much of a deal - the motherboard is ~100, CPU can be found for ~130-150. Still, the combo is not bad for someone upgrading from years ago that need the m2 slots.

    • There's also the 7600+B650M bundle in the other post for $339.

    $900+ cheaper than everywhere else
    1 remaining

    • Good price, looks like batteries are extra though.

    • Dankpods said this brand is garbage. And he for sure looks through a lot of landfill.

    • hmm, technically they would owe you 4 batteries because of misleading title but little hesitant to buy it because not likely they would honour it

      • I bought it and it’s wrong and it’s been refunded

  • Merged from [VIC] Apple AirPods Pro $279.00 in-Store @ Australia Post Shop, Sale VIC 3850
    Go to Deal

    Sales @ Sale are back.

In store at Australia Post, seem to have enough stock. Lightning cable version, not USB-C but not a bad price either way.

Could be State / Australia wide but as always, YMMV.

    Happy Dealing.

      How many left?

                @FredAstair:

There was 5 in the little display

That's not enough to post a deal. Read the posting rules.

      • There was 5 in the little display they had. Unsure if more out the back.

I’m not sure if these are the USB-C or Lightning version but not a bad price either way.

Considering no mentions of it being the Pro 2, it's most likely the 1st Gen Pro (Lightning).

EDIT: looked up the box for the Airpods Pro, and confirm it's the 1st Gen.

      • +1

        Cheers, edited :)

      • You need the USB C version of 2 to get lossless audio.

        • +1

          Only with the vr
          Edit: vision pro

      Just watched this this morning…

Came to say the same. They may not be genuine

      • Ah, good ol' Wenty LPO

    • +2

wait.. is "sale" the suburb's name?

      • +7

Yes the city is called Sale. It’s in Victoria. It’s like 200km from Melbourne

      • i thought VIC is for sale for 3850$

        • +3

Sale Conditions Apply: includes all its debt current and future

    • +1

I wouldn't pay more than $100 for lightning ones myself.

      • +1

        Why is that?

        • 1930's tech

AND the headline isn't clear it's even version 2 (!!)

          Nope.

    • +1

So you’re telling me there’s a sale in Sale?

      Okay I’ll see myself out.

    • Do they also have a special on earings?

      • No but they’ve got a special on Cartier watches.

    • I managed to get the 2nd Gen with USB-C for slightly under $275 last week by getting O/W to price beat an online import company (whose name I am not allowed to write on OzB) that had them listed at $289 delivered. YMMV.

Apple was going to charge me $139 to replace my broken left airpod, and as it was a 2020 purchase, was a no-brainer for me.

I wasn't expecting much difference from my much-loved Gen 1 airpods, but am loving these even more…

      • +1

I am noticing the difference on the Gen 2! Stronger noise cancelling and feel snappier in connection

        • Definitely stronger noise cancelling :)
