  Received the delivery yesterday, and used it for a run today.

  • Transflective screen is nice. Easy to read when you are in the middle of the run under sunlight.
  • GPS locking takes about a minute in the suburbs.
  • GPS is reasonably accurate. After a 19.5km run, the watch tracks ~150m more than my phone (Google Pixel).
  • You don't need the phone when you run, as the watch will track the GPS & heart rate data, and sync with Mi Fit when it connects to phone.
  • Mi Fit on the other hand is very much locked down. No way to export your activity data out. So to connect with other apps like Strava you'll need to sync the watch with a 3rd party app (Notify & Fitness with $2.79 in-app purchase).

  Received mine today. Came with 74% charge which is nice, I won't have to charge it for a month I hope. It takes awhile to do the first update (initiated when I went to enable per app notifications). Very light. Nice rubber strap. Production date of Jan 2028 which is kinda cool.
