The linked page seems very slow to load, for me at least. Hope it works for you.

  • Signed up but haven't received points yet.

  • I registered and it says “Lotusmiles would like to offer 1,001 bonus miles to your account to welcome new member.”

  • Can these be transferred to another FF program?

    • No

  • What can you get with these points? Are they worth the trouble?

If you're traveling domestically with Vietnam airlines anytime soon then 2000 miles is enough to get access to the business lounge prior to a domestic flight.

Otherwise, you need 8,000 to redeem a domestic flight in Economy oneway or 43000 to Australia oneway.

      • Sounds good to me! Thank you!

If they got rid of the entry visa, I'd be more tempted to visit vietnam more often.
Once or twice is enough, but having to pay for visa for a short holiday, I'd rather just go to Thailand or Bali.

VISA is only $25 USD and you can apply for it directly online now.

      • About time, rush I had of known for my tip in Jan of this year, waited over an hour just got that stamp. Glad it will be easier when we return!

      • Oh must've reduced. I paid $75usd each time.
Recently a friend paid the same.
That's via the embassy in Canberra, and you had to send off your passport too.

    • Ummm, yeah it’s about 25 bucks and can be obtained at the airport on arrival. Hardly a huge cost or inconvenience.

      • Don’t do it in Australia.

        1) Apply online with a Visa On Arrival company in Vietnam, this part costs $6. Fill in the online form. They’ll email you an approval letter to present to the VOA desk at the airport in Vietnam.
        2) Pay cash at the VOA desk, get your Visa. This part costs about $25.

I used this company last year, there are many others:

        Hope that helps :)

          This has changed.
You can get a VISA online from the Embassy.

  • I don't receive any points after registration.

    Anyone got it?
