I didn’t know 3M made gazebos. Must be good quality then

  • 3M gazebo? Or gazebo 3M ?

  • Updated title to reflect dimensions.

  • Aldi stuff is usually impressive quality.

  • Thanks. I needed one

  • The open at 9am, make sure you are there by 6am to line up for it

there will likely be 3 of these in all states only.

    • There was 20 of them at my local Aldi this morning (Taree).

    • Yeah about 10 left at Brandon Park just before lunchtime.

  • I've had one of these for a couple of years now and I've used it often on picnics or when I invite friends/family over for a BBQ and I can't fault it.

It also has the small wind/smoke openings at the crown of the canopy which you can see in the photos.

    • I have one too. Much better than units bought elsewhere, even at double the price.

    • Does it have folding support all the way to the centre? I had a cheapo with just single beams going up the centre tent and the whole thing sagged and bent in a year.

      • The one I have only has a folding single beam going from the corners to the crown. The beams going from leg to leg are the opposing zig-zag type supports. Hasn't sagged in either case.

  • Does anyone know the size of these when folded and packed away in the bag?

    • Still 3 metres, just much smaller :)

      • Don't quit your day job ;)

    • I could check when I get home. About 1.5m X 30cm square

      • Are you sure 1.5m long? That seems huge! I was hoping it would fit across the back of my boot.

        • The poles that go vertically collapse in half 1.5m sounds about right.

Wheeled trolley bag for easy transport

Tie it to the car and tow. Problem solved.

        • @NigelTufnel: haha, sounds like something Mr Bean would do !

        • @billy_bob: Mr bean would only do it it it has 3 wheels

        • I actually remembered to measure this. It's 1.3 X 0.2 X 0.2

  • Do you think you can use oztrail side panels with this one?

  • Just picked one up today. Size in bag is 120x20x20cm, with the roller wheels sticking out another 5cm, so total length is 125cm. Just fits across the back of my Ford Escape, but only above the wheel arch bulges.

  • waterproof? will it cope with a decent rain or is it totally porous?
