Great price for this awesome set of headphones. I have older model - QC15 and they sound great. Must have for long flights. Noise cancelling functionality works wonders.

we need a price tracker for just this one pair of headphones.. so we can see what the best price is ever and have a good benchmark or something.. the QC35 is probably one of the most posted/submitted deals on this site right?

    • Yeah I see it here at least once a week.

Only because Eneloops died out with Dick Smith

  • CHEAP

  • -3

$368..$367…$366…$365…………………………$320 Yes long way to go.. Waiting… for it to come down to $320

    • -4

I am waiting for it to drop to $299 :)

    • Cheapest was when Microsoft store was flipping their old model

    • +5

You'll get far more than $48 of value out of them between now and then, if ever!

$48 doesn't buy much these days.

      • +9

48 $1 Maccas frozen Coke is a lot.

        • +2

Even more value if you buy from 711 as their $1 cups have more volume.

        • Think of the calories.

        • @ash2000: 7-11 has 1% sugar options way healthier caloric wise anywho

        • It’s a lot of diabetes.

        • @xdivino:

          OK, you win!

  • trs available?

    • +2

Yes, and the invoice will show $460 as the purchase price.

    • Yeah I got mine from them last sale at 464 and got my trs claim last week.

Trs claims are becoming to be the best bargains out there as sometimes overseas with conversion it isn't any real saving

      • Nobody has sales like in Australia. Most US buyers are paying more than we are for QC35’s, yet we want them to be cheaper and cheaper!

    • +1

Sorry, never traveled much. Is TRS just that you buy something here and then travel abroad with it with a receipt, and they refund your GST at customs or something? So 46 bucks back?

$345 if purchasing using eBay gift cards from Woolworths 👌.

It was around $320 (effectively) a couple weeks ago when Woolworths was offering an additional $10 credit for every $100 eBay gift card purchased, stacked with the previous 20% off tech code.

    • How's that? You can buy eBay gift cards with 5% off woolworths egift cards?

  • I had version 1 but I get nausea from the NC feature :(

Anyone knows if v2 is any different? I travel a fair bit and would love a good NC headphone that doesnt make me sick.

    • According to most review, no. II’s were really just about the Google Assistant button.

Maybe try the Sony 1000’s. I heard different reviews say one had that cabin pressure feeling more than the other (and some say it’s roughly equal). Was a bit inconsistent which to me suggest people are reacting to them differently more so than one being more likely to do it over the other.

Something like the Bower and Wilkins PX May be worth a look too that offer better audio quality by most reports at a reduced level of NC.

      • Thanks but I was actually in the office and not flying at the time. But I'll look around. Thanks!

        • +4

"Cabin pressure" is just how some people refer to or describe the sensation of the noise cancelling.

        • @Smigit: ahhhhhh it does feel that way

    • How long did you use them for when you felt nauseous. It’s something that goes away after some time, so you need to bear with it for a bit longer and let yourself adjust to the negative pressure.

      • 45 mins. I wanted to throw up. Was feeling awful for the rest of the day.

        • It takes like a week unfortunately.

        • +1

@ATangk: maybe I should try again then

        • @lawyerz:
Bose has a good returns policy up to 30 days so it should be okay.

Perhaps try the QC30’s if it’s too much pressure I find they don’t have the same effect and are much more comfortable for longer terms. Not quite the same level of sound or NC though, but still very good.

    • Definitely try the Sony 1000XM2, it's the only one I use for flights now. The NC on the Bose can get uncomfortable as the altitude changes. The Sony is the only NC headphone with atmospheric pressure sensor built in, so it'll automatically adjust for comfort as the altitude changes on your flight. You can just wear it on the entire flight, you don't even need to take off the headphone to talk to people like the Bose. It's also got Google Assistant too if that's the feature you're looking at the QC35II for.

    • I find that if I press play on my music before I put them on, it works very well for me.

Other thing worth trying is to keep them turned off, and use the wire and play music via headphone jack. Then while it's playing, turn it on and you'll find it's much more pleasant.

I'm sick of being tempted by these God damn QC35 deals. Maybe I should just buy a pair even if I don't need them to stop the temptation!

  • +11

    I don't need it.
    I don't need it.
    I don't need it.

      Buy now.
      Think later.

  • I got 2 already, do I need another one? in theory, I need 5 in my household :)

  • I tried using the P20TECH code but it didn't work… Is anyone in the same boat?

    • +1

      Worked for me!

    • +1

I fixed it - it was registered country which I did not update since like forever…

  • Is this Aussie Stock?

    • Why the neg. Its a legit question.

      • Hey thanks, yeah agreed. I see the TRS comment above so am assuming it is… just wanted to confirm.

        • +1

Yep definitely Aus stock, the company is also based in Five Dock, NSW.

        • @doweyy: thank you!

  • whats the diff between the QC35 series 1 and 2 models… I have the series 1 took it with me overseas and it was brilliant.. used it on the plane with the adaptor

    • +1

      look up, question already answered.

    • Series 2 has a button for google assistant (maybe Siri too?) not sure if it's worth it or not.

I broke my bloody travel adapter 1 hour into a 20 hour flight, spent the whole flight (and the return) with only one speaker working.

      • Does it work with Amazon Echo?

Or general question has anyone tried this yet?

  • Well…thanks!! Finally cracked and bought a pair.

  • After contemplating for a week, I bought one. Thanks, OP!
