Emergency batteries for mobile "Energizer Energi To Go Instant" $5.00 Officeworks Sydney CBD

30

Description of this product from http://mobileoffice.about.com/od/accessoriesforyourphone/gr/…

Energizer® Energi To Go™ Instant Cell Phone Charger is one of those neat little gadgets that we can always put to good use. Cell phone batteries always seem to lose their charge at the worst time and digging through a laptop bag looking for the charger and then trying to find an electrical outlet can be a hassle. Stow the Energizer® Energi To Go™ Instant Cell Phone Charger in your laptop bag and you don't have to fear losing your battery charge.

I can't find them on the Officeworks website, however this is what they look like on the tricky dicky website. (~$34 -> but bigger range probably?)

They had 3 or 4 of the Nokia/Samsung combo ones, and 3 or 4 of the Sony Ericsson/LG combo ones.

It looks like each pack has 4 tips to suit different phones in that brand.

You get 2 x Energizer Lithium batteries in the pack, so it's worthwhile almost just for them (they're $9.99 a pair at Officeworks). These may be available at the reduced price at other Officeworks stores?

Here's a Youtube video of someone demonstrating one.

** If you find the page on the Officeworks website, I'll update the link. I looked around?

  • the supermarkets also sell these for around $30, i won 2 from an energizer promo, the lithium batteries go into my remote controls(last for years!) and i use nimh rechargeables in this charger, keep in mind these are only chargers, they won't power your phone directly if flat

  • I wonder if this deal is available in other stores. It's quite a good price for a chip-regulated 2xAA emergency charger.

  • The Varta version is probably better value as it includes rechargeable batteries and tips for a stack of options for $10:

  • I bought a heap of these for $2.00 each about two years ago….listed them on ebay….sold one for $7.00 then I gave up as it was worth more to me to just rip them all open and keep the batteries. Personally I think they are great, obviously no one else at the time did!
