Bought for the sorry credit voucher 😂

    • +1

Yea $4 is still too expensive for an item I don't need but thanks OP, my $10 credit came into good use.

      • +24

Ah OzBargain, there's nothing like the rush of purchasing a commercial quantity of mispriced dangerous power tools at 1:30 AM on a weeknight.

        • +3

Now where to buy a $4 Air Compressor 120PSI to use with it.

        • +1

@dreamscene: You get yourself $2 worth of copper ,
and $2 worth of iron ore .

          • some assembly may be required
        • +3

          @Sleepyweasel:

2 dollar ore. Reminds me of thailand

      • If you happen to receive yours and want to on-sell it for $8, let me know ;)

    • +2

This is the online version of that annoying slip of paper you find at the bottom of the letterbox offering $10 discount on any purchase. The difference being that this version gets received with genuine enthusiasm and is way more effective at manipulating people into visiting their website ($399 power drill for $4? PHWOARRR!!!).

"Damn my power drill didn't come through but boy am I gonna get my money's worth from that $10 voucher! Win!!!"

And they don't even need to bother paying some school kid 5 bucks an hour to deliver the thing.

    • I just got my refund. no explanation (obvious why) or sorry credit voucher though…

    • So sorry $10 eVoucher 🤙🏼

  • Bahahaha Bought one. BUT will it come.

    • +2

Kogan won't honour it. I went to school with Ruslan, it wouldn't surprise me if his team are doing this as deliberate click bait. At the very least they seem not to be making much effort to ensure these pricing errors don't occur. They did cheap Hdd last time an no one got one!

      • -1

Why should they honour a price error?

And at least they give you a credit for the hassle.

        • You say price error,
I say promotional loss leader !

        • -1

          @Sleepyweasel:

How do you know it was intentional?

        • @Scab: Hope's and Dreams

        • -1

          @Sleepyweasel:

I'm hopeless and have no dreams.

        • @Scab: It's OK ,
          we know

        • I've revoked my negative feedback. It seems that Kogan does have a track record of remedying their error by offering credit vouchers for people who've gone through the trouble of buying.

That's the right thing to do!

      • ACCC will fine them, can only plead ignorance for a certain amount of time.

    • +12

      you greedy bastard.

      • +35

        You nailed it.

      • -3

Getting in early with Christmas presents. More $ for the Christmas booze 😂😂😂

    • Because of this, deal would probably won't be approved. Get 1, maybe they will send it.

      • +6

Like they wouldn't notice the correlation with the orders of 500 other OzBargainers…

    • +1

Bought 4. But seriously…. That's got to be a mistake.

I'll give you $5 for one.

    • If you don't make frames it is unlikely it can be used for anything else so it's not a bargain.

      • I'll frame my receipt of my $4 nail gun!

  • Bought one juuuust in case a miracle happens and they actually honour it.

  • Ready for the cancellation emails in the morning?

  • +20

bought one for each hand.. pew pew

    • +3

Does this work with foam darts? I don't want to hurt my buddies.

      • +4

        …but I will if I must.

  • +6

For $4, why not? I don't know what I am gonna do with it, but will add it the mountain of unopened junk that's collecting dust in my apartment (that's if Kogan will be nice enough to honor it). :D

    • +1

Am doubtful that you are a dad. My toy / unopened junk days are now toast.
Unless the apartment you are talking about is a secret hidden apartment dedicated to such things.
What I give to have my man cave back.

      • +3

Stevie, you can make a good detective. You're right, the nickname is ironic. I am not a dad, and not going to be one in the near future as well. :)

        • +1

Nice of you to be honest.
I was expecting you to say you were some other kind of "daddy"

        • +3

@StevieRay: About that, no comment. ;)

        • ..

    • +1

For $4, why not? I don't know what I am gonna do with it, but will add it the mountain of unopened junk that's collecting dust in my apartment (that's if Kogan will be nice enough to honor it). :D

Use it to nail all your unopened junk to the ceiling.

      • +1

Hmm, I would have thought his junk would normally be used for nailing. Probably not the ceiling though.

  • +1

not sure why they're claiming cordless when it needs to be tethered to an air compressor

    • +7

Maybe it comes with a straw.

      • I could see Kogan trying to weasel their way out of a refund with that.

Do you work for Smith Dicks by any chance?

    • Well, it IS cordless… and Wireless too! Just not 'Hoseless' ;)

      • Cordless nail guns come in two varieties; battery powered and fuel cell powered..

    • +2

Wait so now Edison is the crappy tool brand and Tesla is the best car?

      Nikola got his revenge, Tommy!

  • Damn! Missed out! I need a new one, mine died the other day :(
