The q2000 says lp gas, is that just normal lpg gas through a gas bottle?

    • +2

That's exactly what it is LP (Liquid Petroleum) Gas

LPG Gas would be (Liquid Petroleum Gas Gas)

      ;)

        Cheers mate!

      • like when people say 'enter your pin number'. Although ive never heard it referred to as LP gas at servos

    Weber Q2000 $354

Got my weber Q2000 from flower power for $180 using the Amex flower power offer on 9 cards (spend $50 get $30 back)

    • How?

    • +5

Such a good comparison, I'm sure everyone can use their 9 cards to get that.

      • -3

you would be surprised how many ozbargainers have 5 cards or more … off topic: when i went to myer to use one of the offers, the lady told me that someone came in with 32 amex supplementary cards

  • Also what about the anniversary20 code.

    • +1

tried it but doesnt work ;)

    • Now THAT would have been a steal if this code worked :D

  • It won’t stack it just gives $20 of normal price

  • Ive said this before but blows my mind that this thing has no temp gauge. As people have said before, you can fit one yourself. But for a bbq of this price and the quality of the brand name it just seems ridiculous.

    • They have to save something for their premium dealers. And it's the high lid with the thermometer, and electronic ignition.
Shame it's always the non-premium dealers having sales…

  • I nabbed this in the last deal. One thing that wasn't immediately apparent to me at least was these bad boys only come with two grills. If you want a hotplate for bacon & eggs that'll cost you another ~$70

  • would be nice if this had the built in thermometer for the same price

    • Based on the prior deal discussions the accuracy is so far off it's not worth the price difference. Use the savings to buy a real thermometer seemed to be the consensus.

      • what would be a suitable thermometer? Does the weber have a outlet for a probe?

    Thanks OP. Got one.

Thanks. Got one as well. Worked out a near flat 20% if you played around with accessories in the cart. Quite blizzard how they were calculating the discount across multiple items.
