        i use feather blades ($40 for 100) and. $11 brass twist to open razor …..

        other brands of blades are even cheaper …..

        i also use a shave stick …. cost $7 and has been going for 6 months and planet of life left …..

        glad i dumped cartridge razors and aerosol shave cream.
        also easier to clean than cartridges which for me used to clog up.

      Couldn't agree with you more on that. Recently switched to using a double edge safety razor and it's been great. Pack of 100 Astra blades picked them up for $10.

      Along with being cheaper, since I started using safety razors I no longer get razor burn and ingrown hairs like I did with Gillette cartridges. I also tried a Philips Norelco 1250x and Panasonic Arc 5, neither of which would actually remove my hair properly. Sorry for the rant, I'm just so glad I found something that actually works!

    I usually just use a cheap $10 battery job. It gives me a real buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

        Cost wise you're better off not shaving, but if you are going to shave, I don't think you can compare the shave from a safety razor to these. Just like you can't compare a shave from a cut-throat to an electric.
