UBER

Got an email from Uber yesterday offering discounts to General Admin prices (but with a broken link to their US site). All prices linked include handling or any other fees Ticketmaster charges. Enter code UBER to unlock the prices.

Ticket/Day Price Normally Link
Thursday GA $30.69 $35.69 Link
Friday GA $40.88 $45.83 Link
Saturday GA $71.47 $76.41 Link
Sunday GA $85.74 $90.69 Link

Ticketmaster's sites are deceptive , the normal ticketing section price is inclusive of handling fees and the discount section is exclusive. Sunday is when actual F1 race is. Thursday used to be free for a few years. Keep this offer in mind however last year there were some last minute discounts.

Never had to resort to discounted tickets when it was in Adelaide :)

Though in fairness, seems like the last Clipsal 500 struggled to now.

    • Most people will pay full price. Discriminatory pricing to get the tight arses to cough up.

    • I'm sure the tickets were cheaper 25 years ago in Adelaide too, just like most things.

      • Compared to the wages? You have no idea. I can recall paying $50 on the second to last race day, it hasn't doubled almost 25 years later. These tickets are dirt cheap.

Luxury items back in the early 90s like this were infinitely more expensive taking into account wages.

  • Wondering if it make sense to wait. I am after 4-day Concession + club 15. There was no bogof offer last year… Any thoughts?

  • Aren't Friday afternoons free?

    • Thursdays were free a few years ago. Never seen Fridays free..at least not in this decade.

      • Maybe I'm thinking of Thursdays.

BTW You can only see F1 on Fox now, right?

          Legally? Yeah.

        • The Melbourne GP will still be shown live on Channel 10, however that will be the only one.

        • @YellowDieselGolf:

F1 tv has just been announced today. It may not be “available” in Australia, but could work via VPN.

Beats giving $ to old Rubert.

  • Any good accommodation around it?

    • Free tram from the city.

Good accommodation? Yes. Cheap accommodation? No. In fact it's absolute peak season as March is full of events, good weather + it's the start of the AFL season on the same weekend.

  • $168.17 for the 4 Day GA is better value if you want to see fri practice too
