  • Thanks, do you have any links or source for the info?

    • I'm trying to take a screenshot of the email that i was sent by iselect but ozbargain is not letting me upload it

    • OK, we've deciphered this deal and added links.

iSelect is offering a $300 Prezee card.

Frank, MyOwn, Australian Unity all have offers seperate from iSelect. You can go to each of their websites to see the offer in full.

No idea who Adam Conti is, guessing OP spoke to an iSelect rep?

      • yes - he is an iselect rep, and there is a further separate "referral offer"

        • Just wondering if it means that we get a further $50 off our insurance premium? or do we need to use the credit for something else?

  • So I can get $170 cash back from Frank AND $150 Prezzee gift card from iSelect?

    • Yeah but gotta pay for a whole year upfront for the prezzee gift card

  • Also, NIB have a $150 coles gift card and AHM have upto $200 cashback

  • I have a question. currently, I only have extra covers. I will be looking getting a hospital cover too as will be turning 31.
If I switch the insurance company, is the waiting period for my extra covers going to reset?
    Thanks

    • no

    • All your current waiting periods and how much you have claimed already will carry over to the new fund unless you upgrade the extras cover to what you have now, then you may need to re-serve waiting periods. Also remember you are allowed to have 1095 days (3years) of no hospital cover after you turn 31 without getting the Lifetime Health Cover Loading on top of your premium.

  • i spent way too much time on this and found it was cheapest to go with BUPA than any of the providers from iSelect for hospital only. I don't want Extras.
For basic policies (but including heart and rehab) BUPA is $2,880 p.a. (NSW family, no LHC loading, paid in advance, no rebate). iSelect dont sell BUPA.
Policies that iSelect sell more expensive. Frank was $3,127 for similar cover. NIB $3,129. Others higher.

  • Does anyone want to refer me? you'll get $50 and so will I. I spoke to a rep and he said i'll need the full name of the person who's referring me. has to be done today as the offer will expire shortly! cheers

    • Pm'ed

      • Cheers. I'll call them later.

        • Did you call iSelect? I am hoping to join as well—do you know if it will work if I call today?

        • @birdnw:

Yes I called them. My customer ID is 1999762. Mention it to them and they might be able to give you $50 as well. Cheers

        • @neilpatrickharris:

        • @neilpatrickharris:

It worked, they said they will arrange $50 to you as well.

Just in case anyone else is interested, my customer ID is 21413189, thanks!
