  • I

  • i just booked flights last night…

That is a tiny window to book.

They have to keep the window size uniform with the planes themselves.

      • Yes they are masters of tiny windows.

  • Will this also work using an online travel agency?

    • Think so as long as you registered.

    • Won't work for STA travel online because it does not ask for QFF number. Might work instore if you tell them to put in the number during checkout process.

  • Thanks op, just booking a trip now so perfect timing

  • Noooooo! We booked our flights to the UK a couple of weeks ago!! Dammit!!

    • All good - I booked for the UK last night. Checked the flight prices today and the prices have gone up anyway

      • Qantas price jacking like ebay sellers during an ebay promo? Well I never!

  • lame i booked a few weeks ago

  • I'll ask my TA to re-issue the ticket. Let's see whether that will be a workaround. We have 2 pax on an open jaw BNE - LAX & JFK - LAX - BNE in J and it would be an absolute shame to miss out on this offer.

  • Would it work with classic reward flight bookings using points?

    • +1

No, from the terms and conditions: "An Eligible Flight for the purpose of this promotion means any Qantas operated flight with a QF flight number on the ticket where Qantas Points are normally earned, excluding Classic Flight Rewards and any flight with a QF flight number on the ticket which is not operated by Qantas including Jetstar, Jetstar Asia, Valuair, Jetstar Japan, Jetstar Pacific and other partner airlines."
On the other hand, you could say yes because if you double the amount that you usually earn with a Classic Rewards flight (0 points), you get zero again. ;)

Can confirm, 2 times 0 is still 0.

  • Just had 4 company flight bookings made today, but they forgot to include my FF number in the booking. I have added it now, anyone know if I will still get the double points?
