    Nice. I hear good things about Sim City 4 and was tempted to get the more recent Sim City a few weeks back on Origin.

    For US$3.99 AND being on Steam (my preferred game accumulator) this looks like a big YES for me. Thanks OP.

    [Edit: I got this game but the graphics are just waaay to old style and looks too pixelated on my 34 inch screen. I misread the release year for this game. I thought it was 2013 but it was 2003. The mouse movement is also not as smooth. I just completed the tutorial and just quit the game. Looks like I will just wait for the more recent Sim City to be on sale and play that instead.]

      If you haven’t already, check out Cities Skylines on Steam. SimCity 4 was a great game for its time, but the newer SimCity was a huge disappointment - super small building areas, little to no mod support, and it was basically abandoned about one year in.

      Cities Skylines is endlessly customisable with mods from the Steam Workshop, and is still being actively developed. It’s everything that the newer SimCity should have been, imo.

    If you like Thief, be sure to check out The Dark Mod, a fan-made remake using the Doom 3 engine. Totally free, dozens of missions, still under active development.
