  • is this online only or can i pick up in a post office ?

    • Not sure, maybe best to try your local… otherwise it's free shipping

  • Terms and Conditions: Protect this gift card, as lost or stolen cards will not be replaced. Valid for 12 months from date of issue at participating hotels in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
In other words, not valid for Asia. How did OP use this to book for Thailand?

    • +1

Ahh I see - like i said found this when looking, didn't actually buy it as we're not ready to book yet… Just sharing it for others to use… Glad you pointed out the terms though as I thought it would be able to used at any of the hotels on their website :)

      EDIT - have updated post

  • Lol my thoughts exactly. I actually wanted to book a sofitel hotel in phuket later this month

    • Yeah same - I had my eye on a Kata beach hotel…bugger, thought they could be used at any of the hotels on their website

      • Which hotel? Avista?
We were in Kata over the Christmas/NY period.
Stayed at Metadee. Excellent location and a lovely resort.

        • yeah thats the one - when I went the Accor website they had a promo going for select Phuket hotels

Was thinking an extra 10% off would be great…

          Will keep looking though ;)

        • Have you been to Kata previously? I'm not a big fan of Avista's location. Property itself is fine though.
If you want beachfront, Beyond Kata resort (fmr Kata Beach Resort) and also The Boathouse are excellent choices.
          Happy searching :)

        • @JudoChop:

Yeah have been before and stayed at Kata beach resort (when it was known as that) had the big elephant statues out the front! Couldn't believe that there was some epic swell there (Epic for Thailand atleast)and got to have a surf! Wasn't expecting that on a Thailand beach vacation!

          @urbancartel:

You know they've got this in Kata if the swell's not up?

  • Anyone know if you can use this to pay for the Accor Plus program?

    • +1

      Don't believe you can
Cards cannot be used in conjunction with Accor Plus, Accor Vacation Club, third party or contracted rates.

      • Oh thanks should have read the T&Cs

    • it does say on the back of the card not valid for accorplus bookings but have used it in 3 occassions and not had an issue with the hotels accepting the giftcard.

      • Oh really. That’s good to know.

  • Confirmed is in store as well. Got some at North Sydney. Not advertised in store but scanned at $90ea

  • Anyone know when the next Accor Supersale will be on? Its been quite a while since they had one & it use to be quote regular.

    • +1

Usually the next one is late may, early june

  • Can you use more than 1 card at a time?

    • +1

YES! However you cannot use them to pre-pay online, only when you pay at the hotel when you check-out.

Note when you pre-pay your stay only you can still use Accor gift cards to pay for anything else that was billed to your room during your stay (eg restaurant, minibar, upgrades, etc)

  • Love the Sofitel Broadbeach… will grab a few of these for my next stay. Any idea what the expiration on those is?

    • +1

Valid for 12 months from date of issue at participating hotels in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji

      • Aren't the best sales pre-paid only (where it seems these cards wouldn't work)?
