Don't worry, the Optus $30 Starter Kit for $5 @ Optus deal comes pretty regularly.
Missed out last time because optus' site wouldn't let me process it, when I rang up they refused to let me pay on the phone and said that they can send me a blank sim card and top up $30 I said "get stuffed".
"Porting fodder" is not as cool a term as "sim slutting"
I tried to get officeworks to price beat bu they said they can't because they don't match stores, but online only now. I called bs, but it wasn't worth the hassle. two woolies stores I visited ran out of store though :(
