These do not require a separate bridge to control, so can be controlled directly from HA etc

  HA only supports version 1 of TPLink power products. The main problem is the fields for consumption etc have been renamed. There was some attempt made with an update . They rolled this back to get version 1 products working again. Bottom line is you can manually add a config file to override the handling of bulbs, but the TPLink power point switches greater than version 1 will not work at the moment. No Australian product has version 1 firmware.
