  • Better than the one it comes with?

    • Probably not, I got one as I am digging the look of the bulbous plastic housing and mock carbon fibre on the strap.

    • Found a coupon for the genuine Xiaomi replacement strap see above for updated description.

i have it and i think so - but it does come off your wrist a lot easier than the original. I like the solid plastic surround more than the original silicone - my original strap separated from whatever material houses the tracker within a month or two, rendering it useless. This one at least cant do that because its one solid piece of plastic. But the strap does unclip very easily if you drag your arm along something. I probably knock it off at least once a fortnight.

    • Same here

I cannot recommend this one enough. Great fit, comfortable and you can get the device out without special tools etc but only once it's off your wrist so impossible to lose (lost a previous Mi Band when it fell out of my silicone strap).

I posted a deal for this a while back which I'd assume is expired but feel free to give it a shot. Otherwise contact the rep and ask for a discount code (that's what I did).

        Good luck!

  • Just in time! Broke my original strap the other week

    • Then you need to wait one or two month without strap time depends on how long it will arrive…..

      • sticky tape.

  • Anyone know where to get a larger band from i find this one a tight

The original band is not very secure. If you knock something it will come loose and you may not even realize it, and lose the thing. It's happened to me a few times. It doesn't have a loop thing that a watch band would have. The only thing securing it is the small round marble thing that goes into a hole. This is not secure enough. If that fails, the buckle is the only thing left, and it won't hold.

Sorry I don't know my watch terminology.

    • Yes it doesn’t take much to bump the strap or catch something on it and the band comes off. I haven’t been wearing my mi band 2 as much as it is impossible to read the screen in direct sunlight.

      • That's another downside that Xiaomi hasn't addressed. Yeah outdoors it's pretty much impossible to read.

It has super good battery life though. I average less than 2% battery use a day.

    • the non genuine replacement is worse for this, i knock it off all the time without noticing, where before with the original strap I hardly knocked it off ever.

      • looks like I'll need the steel band then.

trust me, only get the original xiaomi ones. the replacements are all trash that dont have the inner rubber gasket for flex so that it sits or holds the damn thing properly.

    • Agree and the holes for the buckle thing wears out really quick with the replacement ones since the material isn't very flexible. I bought them from aliexpress before and within 2 months, it won't latch on anymore. Been using my original one now for a year and doesn't seem to be any sign of wear and tear.

  • Code doesn't seem to work for the Original Xiaomi Mi Band 2

    • Yeah, says expired.

    • Same

  • I had MiBand 2 from first release after my 1 & 1s died.
I never had any problems with the band fell out. I wear my band 24/7 except charging every 40 days and I do play badminton and wore on either hand. I think you need the actually electronic bit sitting as flat as possible on your arm, otherwise it will be pushed out constantly by your arm/bone etc.
My original band snapped after a year. I got another non genuine but branded band with contrasting colour inner ring (harder plastic holder inside). It is even better fit than genuine one after 6 months.

    • I think the brand is actually - MiJobs - get it?

  • GBMAR125- The Code you entered has expired.
