    Thats unfortunate, mine has taken an absolute beating and is still going strong. Try for a replacement because trust me they are extremely durable.

    Mine is still going well, was covered in wall paint, smashed against the wall, scratches everywhere. I recently sanded it back down and applied plastic polish. I can read the screen again and it still works fine.

  I bought a metal band for the first Xiaomi Band, turned out only the strap was stainless steel, but the part that the Mi Band sits in was chrome plated metal. It gave me a rash!
