I found this when looking for a grinder to go with this deal on the DeLonghi Dedica EC685M. Make sure to change the delivery from expedited to free at checkout.

Grinder details can be found here

As a side note, combining both the Dedica KG521.M Grinder and the Dedica EC 685.M Espresso Maker ends up at a total of $268.90 delivered - about $30 more than this deal that sold out very quickly a couple of months ago.

How would this compare to the popular Breville smart grinder?

      I assuming not even close

Care to justify your hypothesis there science-teacher?

They have similar RRP and are both conical burr.

The Breville smart grinder seems to be the darling of the home coffee scene, costs about $80 when on special, how does this compare from functionality and quality ?

    • When did the Breville Smart grider go $80, I'm having an eye out for it and it is always around $150 or so :(

      • typo, $80 more, it's usually about $190 when on special.

      Considering this deal for $161 got >100 + votes I don't think it's ever been $80.

      • typo …. it should be $80 more ….. so it's usually about $190.

Great post. Got the pair. Over Nespresso.

    • Over Nespresso it must have been a no-brainer!

  • Did anyone have experience with this? Would it better or worse than the sunbeam EM0480?

    • Seems to me this is the direct competitor: https://www.sunbeam.com.au/Coffee-and-Beverages/Coffee-Grind…

EM0480 looks less complicated then the one from this deal.

    • No direct experience with the Sunbeam, but from the looks of it dose control would be the main difference. Doesn't look like there's any consistent dose option on the Sunbeam, unlike this one.
Both steel conical burrs so I imagine the actual grinds will be similar.
