Breville Smart Grinder $161.10 - Myer

1060
ANNIVERSARY20

Myer currently has 10 percent off small appliances online that is automatically applied in the cart.

This combined with the ANNIVERSARY20 code brings the smart grinder to $161.10 instead of the listed price of $199.

Essentially the same as the good guys offer a little while ago.

  • Says the anniversary20 code is invalid.

Good price for $179 though (without code).

    • Still working for me

          @SydEP:

          Fixed. Thanks

    • You require a MYER One account to do this, and even then they have the right to cancel your order or ask you to pay the full price… MYER is (profanity) terrible. They aren't very good at honouring coupons and deals.

  • Breville BES920 also on sale at $899 and Sunbeam Torino with grinder at $1169.

      This guy grinds.

    • Cheaper @ HN and GG $799

  • Extra 2.8% off also with CR

    • You probably won't get the cashback as these codes are not listed on cashrewards. No harm in trying though.

  • I've mucked around with one of these
Seems considerbly better than the one below grinder pro or something

  • Thanks OP, missed the GG deal

  • Any good deals on a fully automatic coffee machine?

  • Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great home espresso set up. Won’t be beat at this price.

  • Will this do a descent job of grinding my nuts?

Interpret the above how you will, but I'm into making almond butter.

    • Will this do a descent job of grinding my nuts?

      Make your nuts hang lower?

    • +2

IMO I don't think it'll work, the oil will probably clog up the burrs and get into the grinder innards

    • +2

You only need a normal grinder, or even a food processor for making almond butter. Any cheap hand held barmix with attachment will work.

  • Ordered, thanks OP. Had nothing but trouble trying to order C&C when The Good Guys 20% eBay sale was on but this worked without a hitch.

    • When I applied the code, the price drop down to $179 not $161??

      • The 10% off small appliances deal has expired.

        ANNIVERSARY20 by itself is $20 off $100 spend so $199-$20 = $179.

When the deal was running, 10% off $179 (after applying ANNIVERSARY20 code) = $161.10

  • Awesome deal thanks OP,
Got the Breville BES920 Dual Boiler Espresso Machine & Breville smart grinder for total of $1060.20 with free delivery
Excellent reviews for this combo. Dont forget your myer one card, 2120 credits on offer for this combo

    • -4

You got ripped off.. got the dual boiler from HN with two amex for $599 after $200 cash back… then add the grinder at this price and total comes to $760

      • Not sure why anyone would neg me for that

  • Solo grinder Out of Stock now

    • Looks like all the Breville coffee gear is gone now

    • +1

Still in stock for me, turn off your adblocker if you're using one.

  • Had a look at the sunbeam E7100 coffee machine. Myer has it at $999. With the 20% discount that would make $799, which miraculously is the same price as at DJs. $729 at Bing Lee. And $665 at Hardly Normal.

  • Thanks for pointing this out. Hopefully my order is processed. I am just a little disappointed they won’t accept Coles MYER gift certificates online as I was given a bunch this Christmas.

    • I would rather get Coles Myer gift cards than Myer gift cards because they are way more flexible - you can use them at Coles Express, Target, Kmart, Officeworks etc.

  • Any good deals for beans?

  • -4

So this is how you spell "grinder"! I thought it had no "e"…

  • Still working - thanks OP. Have been wanting to get back to beans after some time in the Nespresso 'hinterland'.

Miss that ground coffee smell. I don't have an espresso machine to use with this at the 'mo, but will start with a french press. Any other methods to get the best out of ground coffee at home without an espresso machine?

If you like cold brew I'd suggest getting a toddy. Easy to use and good flavour.

Alternatively I've just got my hands on a Trinity One to do press, drip and immersion.

      • Excellent. Super suggestions. Thanks.

Ps. How are you finding the Trinity ONE. Looks great. Did you purchase direct from trinity coffee co? Do you think you'll still use your Toddy or is the Trinity going to replace that too with its Swiss Army knife approach?

        • +2

I actually got it from alternative brewing. The guys (esp. Justin) there are fantastic. They price matched Di Bartoli for me when they had 20% off storewide.

I've done a trial run of cold brews with the Toddy and the T1 at the same time with grind etc the same between the two.

Toddy had a more intense flavour whilst the T1 was more refreshing. I think it comes down to price and how much you want to make at once. T1 is definitely easier for cold brew but doesn't make anywhere near as much. T1 also gives you much more versatility. Think I'll still use both depending on need for the moment.

Waiting for the origin decanter to come out now from trinity as i missed it on kickstarter so I can add cold drip to the T1 also.

  • Deal isn't available anymore as the 10% automatic doesn't apply anymore.

    • Thanks. Have updated.

      • Applied the code but the price only drop down to $179 not $161, any idea

        • The 10 percent off was only available yesterday however the code still works for 20 dollars off.

The 161.10 price was a combination of 20 dollars off and 10 percent off.

        • +1

In summary, you jumped on too late to get the $161, but you can still grab it at $179, which is still pretty decent for this RRP$299 piece of kit.

  • not my kind of grinder

  • +1

    Thanks OP.

Was looking for a new grinder to chop up my hydro bud. This will come in handy and it will grind the green consistently.

Wow, it’s smart? Does that mean I can prune my crops and chuck it in the grinder and it’s ready for when I want a mix?
