    How do these starter Packs work?
    Is this price only for 1 month, what about subsequent months?
    Do i buy 12 and use them throughout the year regstering them 1 by 1 Or i activate all in one go and they stack up ?

      I am also wondering whats/how to use if its only one month. Does the OZB community keep on hopping from one network to another, i do that, but not every month.

        Yeah I was hopping around the 6 month plans.

        ATM there's no suitable 6 month offers so I'm just going month-to-month until Amaysim* get desperate again. :)

        I also have a dual SIM phone so I leave my primary number on a cheap unlimited call/SMS prepaid and am using this Vodafone SIM from November for extra data.

        TPG has a 6 month intro offer but there's a cancellation fee of $20, though you can get that waived if you whinge enough.

        *- It's only a matter of time if you look at their half yearly reports. They've been telling investors that their mobile margins are down but that's ok coz they are cross-selling broadband + electricity. So they need to maintain (if not grow) their mobile user base otherwise it's hard to believe the cross-sell story. A whole bunch of people are coming off their 6 month specials ATM so they'll need to do something soon.

    I'm assuming this is $39.90/mth after the 1st month and data drops down to 10Gig but get 13Gig if set auto-recharge. Not worth the trouble.

      You can, but expect the process to take longer - that's what happened to me when porting from Lebara to Kogan.

      Porting from different network is much easier.

        Oh yup, not worried about the bonus data. But with these 'deal' sims is there a time limit on how long you have to activate it generally. Like an expiry date on the package or something in t&cs saying must be activated within 6 months of purchase?
