No connection to the OP or company, but have used Resilio Sync for several years now across a dozen Macs and it has never skipped a beat. Good product.

I have no connection to the company (it's my first time and I clicked the wrong box when submitting)

I've been using Sync for a few years (the free version) and it's been great.
I sync across Windows PC's internationally and Android devices.

I will check out Syncthing however!, always good to have alternatives.
