  • looks like a cool watch…

  • Any chance of a promo on the gpsmap 78sc?

    • +1

At $359 it's already a promo price. $140 off RRP and the cheapest I can see elsewhere is $80 more….

  • Anyone know if the earbuds are any good?

Just got this watch yesterday and took it out for a run. Can't say I'm very impressed with the music feature, maybe you'll have better luck with higher quality truly wireless buds, but with the bragi dash pro, it was severely lacking in volume.

I use the bragi with my Samsung s8 normally and the SQ is night and day. Hopefully they improve the EQ in their next firmware update.

Everything else about the watch for running is great though.

    • great to hear an honest review, cheers

Also Garmin Pay still doesn't work out the box. I heard ANZ and CBA already support garmin pay and the feature is tried and tested on the vivoactive 3 in Aus so a little frustrated that it's still lacking on the watch.

  • cheapest I've seen is $480 for the watch? Has anyone used the ear buds? Might just pay 480 and get my own ear buds

    • really? Where?

  • Does anyone know how long the battery lasts with music on (with GPS off)??

Ive seen the following online but there is no mention of battery life with only music on

"Garmin is promising 7 days battery life or 5 hours when using GPS and music""

    • +1

considering the gps is the battery drain I would say multiple days. I am assuming/guessing the music doesn't use too much

      Maybe try the garmin forums
