We have turned ONE!
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last year. You have all made it a fantastic year for us and we have really enjoyed working hard
to keep improving our products and keep pushing up the service bar.

We are so glad to see more and more of you embracing online, and the daily testimonials are a proving point that call centres are antiquated!

To celebrate our birthday and to say thank you we have released some killer offers that we hope you enjoy. Our new Discovery Social range takes
the original Discovery series and makes it a whole lot more social by adding in unlimited facebook, twitter, ebay and some other good stuff.
(p.s. if you have not heard of facebook or believe a call centre is a must, we are not for you).

We are releasing 10 offers at once, ranging from 1 month free access to 6 months free access across our Discovery Social 10 and our Discovery Social 20.
Below you will find the coupon codes. Hurry allocations of each coupon are limited and all coupons will expire at midnight on the 27th December 2010.

Discovery Social 10 Discovery Social 20
6 Months Free 1YC6MDJ10 (Very limited availability) 1YC6MDJ20 (Exhausted)
5 Months Free 1YC5MDJ10 1YC5MDJ20
4 Months Free 1YC4MDJ10 1YC4MDJ20
3 Months Free 1YC3MDJ10 1YC3MDJ20
2 Months Free 1YC2MDJ10 1YC2MDJ20

Here is how the offer works:
You must bring over (i.e port) a number across to us, the offer is not valid for existing services with us.
To claim the offer select an applicable product (Discovery Social 10, or Discovery Social 20) and enter in one of the coupon codes above into the shopping cart.
The months free will be applied as a credit onto your account in either your first or second bill.
So for example, if you are on a Discovery Social 10, and get 6 months free access, you will get a credit of $60 (6 x $10) applied onto your account.
Once your service is activated you will receive an email notification from us that the credit is being applied onto your account.
This may be on either your first or second bill.

A couple of important things to note:
This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
The credit on your account cannot be redeemed for cash or used to offset any cancellation fees.
To claim the offer your order needs to be placed and paid for before the expiration date.
Discovery Social caps are 12 month contracted and early termination cancellation fees apply.
We use the Optus 3G/2G network. It is your responsibility to make sure there is sufficient coverage for your needs before placing an order.
Please check the network coverage section for coverage information.

  • to clarify
do we know if we get the discount before we commit - or do we only find out later?

    • Hi - you know before you commit. If the coupon gets accepted that's the monthly discount you're on.

  • 6 mth all sold out :( so quickly!!??

Just wanted to say, I signed up using the 5 mths off - very easy ordering process. Just awaiting approval of order.

    • The codes were released on Facebook a couple of days earlier so maybe thats why.

  • does liveconnected have caller ID? for both sending and receiving calls will the numbers show up? I read somewhere that it didn't and couldn't find any further info.

    • … Yes…. haha

  • Awesome deal :D still with them after 11 months I think :D

  • Happy Birthday LC!! Any birthday -eh-hem- celebrations for existing customers? :)

  • If I port to liveconnect

my mates that are still on optus can they call me using the yes free time (after 8pm)

also…. can I call them using the yes free time (after 8pm)

    • I know that we can call optus (lc to Optus/Virgin/TPG/Dodo/LC) using the optus free time. Not sure the other way around.

    • I called Optus twice because our home phone has free calls to optus but they gave me different answers. I emailed live connected and asked if they could talk to the optus staff. However, when I got the sim it's actually an opts sim so I would assume that it would be considered an optus. I'll post back when I get a response.

  • Nope.

    • Elaborate?

  • I have been with these guys for a while now, trapped in a contract..they were good in the begiInning but I have realized they have horrible service. It is absolutely horrible.

Wanted to change a plan, bought another sim from them a month ago, still no change in plan.

They make up rules and fees as they go along.

They have overbilled me every other time and take months to even admit overbilling. I have yet to be credited the amount.

    Absolutely despicable service!!!!
