I was researching Soundbar's, and this came out as a clear front runner for the price range even at full RRP ($350). Previous OZ B deals bring it down to around the $250 mark, so this seems like a good bargain!

I just bought a cheaper version of this, edifier r1280db for $139 from Kogan.
Can get $50 voucher from eBay seller and another $10 off new account with referral.. shipster ship free for this item.. ends up paying ard $90 shipped
Yeah I already have the Edifier speakers but was wondering if anyone had comment on comparing these traditional bookshelf speakers vs a more modern techy soundbar.

Thought I'd point out these guys are part of the 20% off Ebay deal currently going, but with delivery fee added on it is $6 cheaper to buy directly from their site instead of Ebay. Dumb dumb dumb.
Considering ebay takes a large cut, it's not so dumb. Their own website should be cheaper.

Be too - that was a bargain. I think the only difference is software between these models.

No exp with this one, but since I got my first soundbar (Yamaha ATS-1060) around half year ago there's just no going back. <$200 for that boom and being able to hear dialogue makes it probably the best AV upgrade for the price coming from tinny TV "speakers.
Edit: but then I had scope creep and had to buy a 55N7 to go with it…

Same as me, got the ATS-1060 a few months ago and amazing at the difference compared to TV speakers, best $160 sound spend ever but then my arm was twisted and had to upgraded to a new TV (Sony 55" 8500E)

Still decent, yeah. All indications are this is the soundbar to get if you are spending $300 odd.
