      Yeah I read a few reviews and they said it works with the raspberry pi. I bought it to use with my raspberry pi 3 running kodi, fingers crossed.

    Protip: buy a TV with HDMI CEC and you can use your standard TV remote with your kodi box

      My JVC TV has HDMI CEC and for some reason just doesn't work with kodi, super weird. Although, the TV does turn on if I ssh into the rpi and reboot it. So It's kind of recognising it but the remote won't control it, bit frustrating.

        I would troubleshoot more. May be a setting on the TV or the kodi plugin that needs adjusting

    How does it work with a Sony Smart TV? I just plug it into the available USB ports and it will automatically know what the remote is? I'd love to be able to type for youtube searches, etc.

          Best thing to do is try out a wired USB keyboard and mouse. If they work then this should work too.
