      The Kenwood K-Sense TCM400GR, which I assume is the same model, except in green (the toaster in Choice's photo looks similar to the one in the Amazon sale except it is green and "GR" probably stands for "green") was recommended by Choice magazine.     I've got Kenwood Kmix 4-slice toaster. Quality wise it's quite good, definitely better than Aldi one that I had before. The best thing in it is the size. It's visibly smaller than other brands. What I don't like in it is too short max time one can set. It's not enough to crisp gluten free bread that I keep in the fridge so I have to toast it twice: once on max time and another time on half time (Aldi one could do it in one go).

      What is the crumb tray like? I have an issue with my current sunbeam in that even with the tray clean, even just sliding the toaster along the counter it’s spills crumbs everywhere from underneath. Does this Kenwood leak crumbs from underneath at all?

        There are 2 shallow trays in my model. When I lifted the toaster to check the trays there were some crumbs on the desk but I haven't noticed anything falling out when I moved the toaster. So I guess it does leak a bit but not too bad.

    Instead of these trashy kenwoods, check out the de longhi stuff. Some decent prices if you get the cheapest colour which seems to be completely random between models.
