Great prices for these popular models. I have the grey V3 and cream dial with blue hands Bambino. Tempted by the blue and green v4. 21mm lug width is annoying though. Really don't understand why. Grey V3 on a mesh or milenese band looks perfect.

Yes, I love the look of the bambinos, especially because of the price haha

these Orient watches I couldnt find with better price online.

The cheapest Orient Mako Watch is $165.84 not $159.18.
The cheapest Orient 2nd Generation Bambino Version 3 Grey Dome Crystal Automatic Watch is $149.66 not $143.66.
The cheapest Orient Bambino Version 4 Japan Automatic Gent's Leather Elegant Watch is $157.75 not $151.45.
The cheapest Orient Monarch Automatic Power Reserve Leather Watch(dutyfreeislandshop.com) is $203.61 not $195.52

These watches are hard to get in stock and when we get they sell out very fast because of the low price. Actually our normal price is a bit more expensive as this watch we showed here now is japan made movement instead of totally made in japan.

Anyways thanks for mentioning it. I have added a coupon to receive a free James Bond NATO strap when buying a watch with us.

        • @sammas:

Would have thought japan made movement only should cheaper than made in japan anyway ? Made in japan will be a much better deal. When will the made in japan will be back in stock ? Cheers.

        • +4

@byud: Codes starting with SAC are made in japan whereas codes starting with FAC are made somewhere else. SAC versions are usually a bit more expensive. This isn't a bad deal, the watch is pretty cheap here for this price. I'd have jumped on this instantly if they were SAC and not FAC but thats just my personal preference. As the site shows the SAC versions for only around $10 more, I'd easily have gotten that one instead but its all sold out.

          @tomochin1991:

I was thinking like you too ! Hoping they bring the SAC version back in stock !

        • +1

@sammas: Rep has responded to critique by throwing in a free NATO strap, which is nice. Those are always cool.

Can I use the NATO strap with the watch?

        • @byud: It's hard to get the made in Japan for the price we have so for now only japan movement made.

          @leetguy101: Thanks! :)
Yes, for the ones with 20mm lug.For the bigger ones it does not fit exactly but still not bad.

Excellent timepiece. I have the second generation with gold hands,I absolutely love it. I get comments from strangers about it all the time. I have replaced the original leather strap with a better handcrafted one for comfort and style.

It's only appropriate to post a photo here.

OP, what is the actual diameter of the Orient Envoy? How bigger is it compared to the Bambino?

    • +1

      That photo is always necessary.

    • +1

      Thanks for the tips.

The Envoy is a bit bigger (43mm) compared to the Bambinos (40.5mm).

Hey OP, looking to get my first automatic watch :)
I have a slim wrist and currently wearing a 38mm watch, which looks fine for me.
Do you have any recommended watch that may suit my puny wrist? (originally wanted the Orient Envoy but I think it is tad too big for me :/)

tempted by the mako xl and the bambino ver2 cream/blue hands - would be good to get the japan versions though…

  • +1

Upvoted for Orient Mako's at $165.84 shipped, I can't find them cheaper.

This should be added to the title.

    • I though the Bambinos would call more attention. Also there are larger stock than the Mako models.
Thanks for the vote and feedback.

      • +1

You can fit both in the title if you remove the free nato strap.

        • Good suggestion! I've just edited it.
          thanks

  • +1

Order a bambino ver2 grey. Cheers.

Would love a sale for the cream bambino v2!
