        Sometimes you get a good deal, just how you get a good deal on other expensive items. There was similar deal a while ago at around this price for another watch too, but that is rare.

        Bulova isn't an expensive watch brand. They are good quality at an affordable price and are regularly discounted on Amazon. They do make a Swiss automatic line called Accu-swiss that features Swiss chronograph movements like ETA 7750 at prices much lesser than the usual Swiss luxury brands. Lately, their Precisionist quartz movements have been very popular because they have a sweeping seconds hands, which is actually faster than an auto, as opposed to the unloved tick, tick of normal quartz watches.

        Bulova does not have cheap reps made in China - they just aren't desirable enough and already cheap.

          @bargainparker: Pretty new that Curve on the homepage. I like it, wouldn't buy it though. The quartz models will always be cheaper. I don't mind their Surveyor model. Their Lunar Pilot model is quite popular and is a modern re-issue of a Bulova that actually went to the Moon. Very Speedmaster-ish

          @obiwan: The Lunar watch is a fantastic watch an has been a hit for Bulova. They do often go on sale, so patience is the name of the game. The Limited Edition black out looks great IMO. Just be aware that the SS bracelet does not fit on the leather version due to the lug holes being in different positions. So if you buy the leather version, you can't upgrade to the bracelet. Resale for all versions is decent. This watch is actually a reissue of a Bulova that went to the Moon, not a shady copy of the Speedmaster.

      Fake Bulovas doesn't exist - no demand since they are cheap and not desirable enough to rep.

      I would curiously love to be proved wrong though.

    Just wondering since warranty is not by Bulova, but Amazon's Asurion 2 year warranty, how that goes. Bulova website says: Your Bulova watch is covered by our 3-Year Global Warranty.

      Most of the time you'll notice the issues straight out of the box, in which case Amazon will initiate a return. Amazon has the best customer service I know.

      I like the look of the tuning fork at 12 personally. Some of their lower-end quartz watches can look a bit 'fashion' without it.

    Got Mine today adore the look of it except for one thing it's dead don't know if the battery is a flat or the watch is a goner dam it I need to ship it to the US. I was really looking forward to this watch.

      I remember reading somewhere on Watchuseek that the same thing happened to a member over there. It was a dead battery, which you think they would check before posting it. He replaced it himself.

      These must be old stock, hence the cheap price, but I would still contact them and complain to see what they say.
      They shouldn't be sending them out if the battery is dead. Amazon are very good at dealing with any problems.
