    Thanks OP

    • Not likely.
Every random colour I've got has been purple :P

      • +3

Note to self - never put eggplant into the purple bag

  • Thanks OP, got several months of plastic bag supplies so should arrive just in time :)

So I will need to BUY garbage bags when they phase out the free ones we put our shopping into, I'm sure it's a ploy by Glad and the supermarkets to sell garbage bags to people who reuse the plastics bags as free garbage bags.

      Really?

      • I haven't bought a garbage bag in 30 years, use the shopping bag for stuff that can't be recycled or composted e.g meat, onions, vaccum dirt from the dyson, nappies, etc.

Nah, it's a Social Justice Worrier initiative. Bunch of miserable people with an innate need to make everyone else's life miserable in every way, before they themselves die still miserable.

While the rest of us will be thinking on our death bed, "Gee I wish I'd spent more time with my kids/spouse, or doing good for others…", they'll be sobbing into the pages their Karl Marx manifesto about how they didn't manage to force the entire planet to eat compacted sewage and drink seawater, submit ourselves at age 30 to Sleepshop/Carrousel before being turned into Soylent Green, and never quite managed to make heterosexual relationships and classification of gender illegal.

They could have made 'plastic' bags from cornstarch that dissolves the moment moisture hits it, and/or paper like in the USA. But nooo… that didn't meet the required rating on the MLFFF (Miserable Leftist Fascists, Feminists and other Freaks) scale.

  • The OzBargain Baggu edition is better and free.

    • Can you still get these???

    • Not to mention the street cred when you use it at shopping centres. Harvey Norman staffs might even feel pressured to give you extra discount.

      • Don't know about an extra discount, something to do with selling to Professionals. But the staff were instructed to greet us with "Hi OzBargainer, can I help you?"

  • Got one for my wife. Christmas sorted.

Is your life insurance up to date?

      • +1

Everything in life is disposable. Even marriage. But this bag seems reusable. Maybe I should buy one myself!

after your divorce as much as you think you get a new wife, she is probably just a recycled ex-wife or recycled ex-girlfriend.

It feels good to recycle and help the environment.

Let me know if you need a lawyer!

      • I'm not sure ozbargain is the best place to find a lawyer… Would you give me a big discount?

  • Has anyone bought in the past? Are they any good?

I'd say a regular plastic shopping bag is stronger than anything from Zapals these days :P

    toughly material

Just what I've been looking for.

  • Finally a reusable bag that can be folded!

  • I bought some of these from the Baggu range before (this deal seems to be a no name brand though). They are handy to have around and are quite durable. A few bags of mine did start to break at the seams after a few months due to heavier items and wear and tear. The folding shopping tote don't hold a lot of items but is OK for basic shopping unless you want to carry a few bags at once. (I ended up getting a foldable basket for when I need to buy more things.)

  • Great for all those gallon jugs at the local Woolies >.<

  • "Can be used of outdoor shopping, large space, toughly material, convenient to taking fruits and vegetables."

    Lol.

  • Thanks OP
