For those that like their Hose bigger

I saw these online and tried to buy but the local store didn't have any :(

    • They have a stock count system on their website. If it says in stock at your store then it’s probably somewhere in the store

  • Still too small for my hose. :(

      Even the 19mm? Lucky you…

      • Its a curse really…

    Looks at clock: 9:30pm
Looks up nearest bunning’s closing time: 10pm
    Me: challenge accepted.

Thanks OP got a few. There’s still plenty of stock in Box Hill. They’re also offering the water stop connector for the same price.

  • Anyone got any recommendations for decent hose fittings, doesn't matter what they cost? Holman brass?

Was chatting with Hoselink today - who say they guarantee their fittings never to burst. Small print however said within warranty period.

    • my hozelock fittings just broke today, bought it last time when Masters closed down. Lucky I got this replacement in time.

      • HoZelock are the worst, by far, hoses I have ever purchased. They kink easily, fittings are bad, and the hose wear quickly so I'm constantly having to cut it back to reset fittings.

Unfortunately I didn't realise how bad they were until Master had closed down.

I think the Hoselink ones are ridiculously big and cumbersome. I personally like all of the Gardena stuff, i've had some of these type connectors for over 20 years!! I've got 2 Hozelock reels and they both have Gardena connectors after the originals broke in less than a year. I'll look at the Gardena reels when these shit themselves.

Gardena every time. Don't touch Pope.

      • +1

Don't worry about the Pope. You should be saying "Don't touch, Cardinal Pell" .

  • I got a large garden been through a lot of irrigation and hose and connectors

Don't get brash or copper most of their connection is rubbish and not watertight
Only brash I get is Ball Valves.
Get nylex brand connector they are a tight fit, good quality and never leaks

I also have hoselinks (3 years now and still good) they are good if they ever leak just replace the washer

    • I think you need to be a little brash, as if you wait too long you'll surely miss out on the deal.

      • Hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    • I read this in a Sean Connery voice

  • All appear to be out of stock in the Newcastle / Lake Macquarie area.
+1 for the deal though, looks like their ditching this for their new look design. Probably performs identically just looks different.

  • Can’t find any in store

  • Normally $10?? This discounted price should be the everyday price

    • I've gotta say I don't remember these costing $10 in the past. But they're made heaps better than all other brands and they deserve a premium price.

Great brand, combatting the prices of the much cheaper and rubbish quality of aqua systems and Holman. I hope their timers get cheaper too.
