comparing this vs Lebara 360 days 5GB per 30 days at https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/369688 - too many choices - thanks OP

    • and kogan 6gb ~10.50 vs tpg 2gb 10

      • kogan 6gb ~10.50. Please share link. Thanks

        • Believe referring to the buy 1 get 1 free for 365 days with Kogan. Works out to $12.50 per month. If Kogan works for you and you have someone to buy with is a decent deal - only thing is locked in for 12 months. I think we'll continue to see downwards pressure on prices - so value the no lock in with month to month.

buy one get one free. 300
          buy 50 off voucher. here/gumtree/ebay. -$40 (costs 10)
          referral credit. -$10
          ends up $250.
          $250/2/12= ~$10.5
you can sell ya second one for around 130 so more savings
also you can buy WW egift cards from cashrewards, THEN BUY KOGAN to save 5% ($12.50). or from fellow user potm for 8% instead ($20)
at then end you could end up with $9.90 or $8.33 with the 8%

@Tgb: tpg uses voda.and kogan allow you to change plans and get refunded the remainder. dont see anyone beating kogan anytime soon.

        • @TarquinOliverNimrod: How do you get $8.33? Best I could get is $9.58.

        • +2

@sitdowndisco: i added selling the second for 130. so subtract another 15

        • arsenal1 just buy a kogan 7.90 for 23gb every month

        • @TarquinOliverNimrod: Edit: Never mind. I was blind. Got it now :)

        • +1

@TarquinOliverNimrod: thanks for this. You are the true ozbargainer. Did this today. $299.90 - 50 voucher + 8.32 eBay voucher - 10 referral credit = 248.22 total or 10.34 per month.

Thanks OP, Just voted to keep the competition alive.
The Best option is 12 month kogan buy 1 get 1 free. (even this is still expensive)
The rest are not worth it.

Beware of TPG's "Port Out Fee"

    • +8

Beware of TPG's "Crap Service Guarantee" also.

Let's also hope you don't have to deal with their customer service because 9 times out of 10, you know more about a problem than they do.

  • Thanks don’t like the idea of the port out fee

    • port out fee exsits in optus post paid as well. it is just you can go around it.

do they still charge $20 deposit and won't refund when you leave? and $8 port out fee when you leave?

    • Came here to post this - specificslly the nonrefundable 20 buck deposit. I think they do, but I'm unsure.

Of course they will recredit both if you complain, but for the small amount of hassle I'd just go another provider.

Sorrry but this page https://www.tpg.com.au/support/service_cancellations.php does not mention anything about a port out fee. Where can I see that information?
