  This one seems to be a "beta" version, and I'm not sure if we'd have to pay for the proper full version when it becomes stable… Probably not, but just a thought.

  This looks the same as Digital Dashboard GPS by the same dev. That one was free last week.

    Yeah, looking at his offerings on Google Play shows 4 distinct apps with remarkably similar screenshots (10 apps in total if you count the Pro and HD varieties) - Speed View GPS, Digital Dashboard, Speedometer GPS & GPS Speed. I can't help but feel it's a little fishy.

  This app sucked 16% of my battery in a few hours and made it very hot. The only way I could get it to turn off was to force quit. Uninstalled after it turned itself back on.
