  • Lol these plans are terrible value.

  • Seems like you enter your credit card details into the system and you will be billed automatically if you don't cancel before the end of the first month. So this is essentially post paid.

Anyone know how long you have to activate the sim?

    • Actually is a post-paid service, with additional charges for excess data, international calling etc. Defined as such in their CIS. This is interesting…

Note: You could receive invoices with delayed usage charges or any additional or non-included charges for up to 2 months after you disconnect.

      • Are we paying after the subscription (postpaid), or paying in order to get subscription (prepaid)?

Pay 2.90$ more and get 23gb of data with unlimited calls and SMS on Kogan mobile for 1 month.

Kogan have the better deal for sure but in TAS because they are under Vodafone, their reception is horrendous.

  • Hi OP, is there a date these plans need to be activated by? Can't see it listed anywhere?

    • Couldn't find any information sorry, you might need to phone them to find out.

Just spoke to Moose rep who confirmed no time limit on activation.

        • But does activation have to be before midnight tonight to buy a subscription for $5 last minute because delivery will take a week? Or can we buy last minute for $5 and activate later like you were wanting to ask the rep?

@lovepeoplenotmoney: I think you buy at $5 up to midnight tonight, then activate anytime after you receive it in the mail. Usually the SIM will have an expiry date printed on it.
