      Woolies have Pedigree casserole 1.2Kg cans for $2 this week. Combine that with some Deb instant mash, and a $2 bag of frozen mixed veggies, and there really isn't any reason why pensioners across Australia shouldn't be dancing in the streets this new year.

  I don't think any of the supermarket foods are good.. the best thing is to buy proper stuff from the pet food store. But its alright to give this occasionally.

    Rubbish. The Whiskas and other Uncle Ben's products are made to a balanced formula; their recipe is balanced exactly to cats dietary requirements. If your cats wont eat it, they are being over fed. The quality of the ingredients might vary compared to something like Iams/Eukanuba or the other premium brands - but in the wild, cats eat every part of their prey - and they also clean their backsides with their tongues. The "premium ingredients" are only there for your benefit…

  I know there's probably a fair bit of debate about it, but Whiskas really isn't the best food for your cats. Some Iams goes down well and won't set you back too much, and it's arguably a lot more balanced as a constant diet.
