    Price in title please..

    Normal price? Where’s the bargain?

  • This looks like SPAM

Good price but I'd happily pay the extra $2 for one that is not pink!

  • No deal. $47.99 delivered or $39.99 pick-up.

Plus if you're happy to wait for USA shipping you can get it for ~AU$35. This is just a poor, quasi-sockpuppeting deal.

    • Unless you live on the Gold Coast and want to pick up, OPs link is cheaper.

      • +2

OP has lowered the price since original posting. Was $49.99, then $40.25, then $40.99. Either way harryzee found it cheaper so it's still not a deal.

    • You should remove the neg.

Your link is for a different model, the M10. The OP is for the M19.

harryzee posted a link to a sub $40 m19 on ebay
        https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CRANKBROTHERS-MULTI-19-TOOLS-MUL…

        • +2

Correct, that is a relevant reason but not the M10 that Tom linked to.

        • +1

@seb: Yeah, the M10 was a mistake of mine to neg for, but since the deal can still be found cheaper I won't remove the neg.

Especially because the OP originally tried to hide that they were a rep and were clearly sockpuppeting, then later marked themselves as 'associate' which still is inaccurate and then later changed the description to say "we". If you're a rep it's not hard to read the forum rules and comply with them.

        • @tomclancy:

Once again, please don't spread misinformation, rather than making assumptions check the revision history.

          later marked themselves as 'associate'

No they were marked as associated when they posted the deal. Ref

          'associate' which still is inaccurate

No it's not. They are associated, that was previously explained here

then later changed the description to say "we"

They did not change that, moderators did. Ref

If you're a rep it's not hard to read the forum rules and comply with them.

Deal posting guidelines? They were followed.

        • @hamza23: Apologies hamza, I am not trying to ruffle feathers. I have been following this from the initial posting and I have been checking the revision history. My bad about the associate tag, I missed it on the first instance and though it was added later. Still the wording by the OP in their first deal description:

seems to be quick postage and they are located in Australia

…is clearly trying to convey the message that they are not related to the store. Whether that is technically against the deal posting guidelines or not, it is clearly intended to trick us users and against the spirit of OzBargain. Then multiple price changes, and then moderators stepping to make necessary changes just smacks of poor posting and it was originally a rubbish deal. If it wasn't for moderators helping this poor OP out it would be much worse. I probably overreacted and jumped down the throat of the OP trying to squash this type of sockpuppet posting here. These types of posts do bother me… haha!

          Point taken.

        • @tomclancy:

Fair enough, I understand the problem with that wording but the OP did mark themselves as associated from the get go which is the primary indicator that they are related to the store and alone what we should go by. The OP may have copy/pasted the wording or might be posting on behalf of someone else.

Buy 2 or more and receive discount

…why would we need 2x PREMIUM MULTITOOLS??
…we need a BETTER price on SINGLE units or NO DEAL!! :P

    • Associated means that they are friends or family of someone at the company, not a rep.

      • +3

OP has changed the price two times since original posting. Was $49.99, then $40.25, now $40.99. It was only lowered after OzBargainers started finding it cheaper elsewhere. Surely this is evidence that the OP is not Associated but rather a rep???

        • Report is the appropriate action, not a downvote.

        • Okay a whole heap of misinformation going on in the comments and in the reports.

          As per our comment box:

          Store Association
You have just indicated that you are associated or work for this store

So associated can mean either, it doesn't necessarily mean they are only friends/family, but at the same time it doesn't mean they are doing anything wrong being associated and working at the store. That doesn't mean they are sockpuppeting.

Some users like to change their tag to something more descriptive (marketing, employee etc.) or apply for an official store rep tag, but that is not a requirement, associated can cover any type of association (from a friend to the owner).

Finally if something is wrong with the description then report it (don't neg vote it).

          Guidelines.

Let's move on to talking about the deal itself.

        • +2

@twocsies: Yes agree and I did report this for sockpuppeting originally. My downvote is because it can be found cheaper elsewhere.

Thanks for the honest feedback from you all, I shall remove the post and take the forthcoming products else.
