  • Looks like it should be ridden by a toddler not an adult.

    • +2

Common for a folding bike which suits an adult. Smaller crank arms which mean you pedal more (less leverage also) It's got good specs and under 15kg. https://www.bikefolded.com/xiaomi-qicycle-electric-smart-fol…

Honestly. If you drove into work part of the way and used this the rest of the way it's very useful in a small car or to reach public transport

  • Stay turned for more deals!

I am staying 'turned' for xiaomi car

    • Hi there,

thank you for pointing out the typo. We will have our team member know.

My antivirus prevented me from entering your website - says it contains malware (https://www.sophos.com/en-us//threat-center/threat-analyses/…).

    • +2

Mine too. Says the site is a phishing scam. I think that should be reason enough to avoid this store at all costs.

    • Hi there,

It is the first time we have noticed this problem. Be rest and assured that this site is safe and we are a legitimate business. We will have our IT team look into this ASAP. Thank you.

    What's with the fake counter?

Sold! Hurry, only a few left!

When you refresh page it goes back to 15.

    Hurrify Tool for Shopify

1 countdown timer app in the App store

Hurrify is proudly #1 app in the App store. It offers a lot of exclusive features that none of the other apps offer

EDIT: Now gone down to 10 sold from 15.

    • +1

Not a good sign for a new seller to be using a scam countdown counter. I wouldn't trust this website.

Will you be getting the Xiaomi Notebook Pro? (specifically the 16gb ram one)

    • Hi there,

the notebook will only be available through our retail shop in Chatswood, Sydney, Which is scheduled to open in June. Thank you for your love in Xiaomi.

      This is their mirrored site
      https://ausmallxiaomi.com.au/pages/contact-us

      (they call themselves "authorised distributor")

As for the logos and the use of the Xiaomi trademark, they probably did get permission from Xiaomi but that's just my assumption.

Their blog, for anyone who can read Chinese.

Great. Publish them here and on your websites.

What exact products are you authorised to sell and/or service?

      • +2

I emailed Xiaomi in China. They told me that they don't have any distributor in Australia and they are not related to xiaomiaustralia.com.au.

        • +1

I'm surprised that Xiaomi hasn't taken legal action.

I thought this was Roboguy's new account for a moment:)

  • Looks like a circus clown's phony little trick cycle. Do I want to show up to work riding that thing? No, I don't.

Good luck selling this at $869 (who comes up with these numbers, anyway).

Do a real deal on the phones, tablets, and the laptops and you'll get some love on this board.

It's $899 on Amazon AU from the same seller with bad rating.

    • 1 negative review, item not received. But Sendle clearly tried to deliver

  • +4

    Fake deal.

  • +2

At the bottom of your web page there's a Questions tab, which I looked at as I expected advice as to which states these are legal in. However the questions and answers are all about access to AWS resources. Is your web site broken, are you a fly by night company that hasn't bothered to set your web site up properly or is there some other explanation?

    • +1

In NSW, this is classified as a pedalec as it has a 250w motor. The web site doesn't say if it meets EN15194 and carries the necessary compliance certifications and labels.

    • Hi there,

We had our IT department look into this. It's a bug. Sorry for the inconveniences, we will have it fixed by tommorrow. Thank you for pointing out.

      Cheers,

That's not a bug. That's just text fillers you forgot to edit after getting hold of your theme.

I just had a Live Chat with Jasmin.

She said that the electrical items on their site are safe. However, she could not (or would not) supply any Electrical Safety information on the Power Strip, the Mobile Phones, the bikes (etc.), the Home Air Conditioner Control, and so on.

Very deceptive web site, and deceptive business and company information.Falsely claiming to be authorised by Xiaomi.

    • Hi there,

Sorry our customer service team failed to provide you with the information you needed. If you still require those documentations, please email us at [email protected], we will have our team member send you through, Thank you for your love with Xiaomi.

      • +2

Why not publish important information like this publicly on your website and provide a link to it here, so everyone could see the info?

        • -3

          Hi Cocakoala,

As per our company policy, this information is for request only. Ans we can only provide it to the requester when his/her identity is verified.

For example, apple will not put their product certification documents on their website either.

Thank you for your love in Xiaomi.

        • +3

You will not have access to Xiaomi's test reports as well. The only way you have test reports and certifications for the products on your site is if you, as the importer, submitted them for testing and if so then the certifications will be in your name.

          @m9:
          Hi there,

Please email us at [email protected], and once your identity is verified, we can send you through the reports. The reports is not under our name since we are the retailer, it is under the manufacture's name.

          @Ausmallxiaomi:

As per our company policy, this information is for request only

As per Australian legislation, it is NOT. You MUST supply proof of certification on request.

For example, apple will not put their product certification documents on their website either.

The certification for item sold/distributed by Apple is either on the outside of the packaging, or on the product, or in the firmware.

          Eg. For iPhones
          Go to Settings
          Then General
          Then Regulatory

Is this legal on Australian roads?

    • +1

Only if it complies with European standard EN15194 and carries the necessary certification label, which isn't mentioned on their site (see my post above).

    • Hi there,

It is legal as it complies EN15194.

  • Can anyone clarify things a bit…
Are there different versions of this bike?
And where do we get EN15194 one?

    • Hi there,

there's no different version of the bike. And the bike is EN15194 Certified. Thank you.

  • There are a lot of fake Xiaomi products on the market. They are poor quality and they are a high risk of exploding. Xiaomi Qicycle is EN15194 certified.

      Hi there,

We are an authorised Xiaomi retailer in Australia. Be rest and sured that all of our products is genuine, plus we are an Australian business, you will be protected by the Australian Consumer Law.

BTW, there isn't a lot fake xiaomi products(apart from the fake power banks), since the product itself is very inexpensive…. It will cost even more to manufacture the fake one instead of the real Xiaomi products.

      Thank you.

@Ausmallxiaomi: How difficult to show the authority to the public? Most of the authorised reseller are happy to show them to the public. Intel Reseller Dyson Reseller or Apple Reseller, they are everywhere.
