Oh geez, I actually looked at the site. Lol.

Nothing over $99! Save now! Trust us, we are very honest people!

The 'About' page tells you pretty much all you need to know: http://vipabilityshop.com/index.php?main_page=about, and I've used that icon before.

No HTTPS certificate is immediately suspicious. Always look to the left of the address bar (on Chrome at least) for that 'Secure' indicator.

That means nothing when it comes to legitimacy of a website.

      • -2

On a typical website sure, but any e-commerce site processing sales should have HTTPS/SSL enabled.

        • -1

So, an e-commerce website that enforces HTTPS is legitimate?

          @Drew22:

No. That's not even close to what I said. I never said that HTTPs makes a website legitimate, I said the LACK of HTTPS is suspicious.

I would be interested to see if you could find a legit seller (who processes payments) that doesn't have SSL enabled. You really want to trust a website that'll transmit all your credit card details in plain text?

        • @NuclearWessels:

But on the flip side, having SSL makes a site any more legitimate? No.
Sure, not having SSL is suspicious, but having it should not be any less sus.

      HTTPS SSL IS FREE!

  • No price beat policy. No deal.

90% off you still need to ask?

No contact details for custome service, no ABN.

    Fake fake fake

Obviously a scam and so what I suggest is that ALL OB members go to a site that generates fake credit card numbers (eg https://ccardgenerator.com/generat-visa-card-numbers.php) and place multiple orders for goods, using all false info.

    That'll f….em!!

    1. There are multiple errors in that paragraph

    2. No ABN… Well that doesn't matter if it's a US store.

    3. Just feels like they've gone with a default e-commerce store layout and copied and pasted stuff.

  • Yep, so place an order in the way I suggested

  • looks legit

We get these scam clones posted on here quite a bit. You just search for "We are professional online company in the world" and you get to see a sample of how many domains they've purchased (probably for 99 cents from GoDaddy).

I am experience online scam in the world.

    • I am experience online scam in the world.

I prefer my online scam to be professional. Get a degree, ya bum.

  • Milwaukee 15 piece toolkit for $139… hahahaha hahahaha…. NO.

Having just shifted from DeWalt to Makita at work and pricing up Milwaukee tools… Do you seriously have to ask if this site is legit or not?

Edit: 500+ piece Sidchrome tool kit with rollcab… $139. The worst part is that so many people would actually try and buy this shit. And then wonder why they got scammed on their CC statement.

  • No business in their right mind would offer all those products at such significant discounts from RRP. They might have a los leader or two, or an out of stock click bait item to get you to view, but more than that and it's a scam.
