hmm.. Tried a few sectors that I will be flying with no luck, anyone else had luck so far??

    • Looks like it won't apply to anything that already has a discount applied.

  • Some flights are more expensive. But it does appear to work in school hols.

  • Compared pricing without code and with code I will save $29..lol to my calculation that's not 20% off a $620 fare… ok

    • @ chuneeperformance ; Well it does state UP TO :)

      • that'd cover the -5% I was getting on some :-)

They're following the Banggood law of discount calculation.
it's % off the max price that no one pays, which can be more then the usual discounted price.

So the same as 90% of retailers then.

        • @Diji1: Yeah, like target discounting the Xbox One, based on a price that a few suckers paid 4-5 years ago lol

        • @Diji1: 20% off 60% of the time, every time!

Can you please add "Amex Velocity Card" in the title, since the deal is not for all AMEX.

    • +1

      Amex Velocity Card
deal is not for all AMEX

I wonder how they can police that… AFAIK, AmEx doesn't have separate BINs for AmEx Velocity, AmEx Qantas, AmEx Membership Rewards cards, they all go through the same backend network, and then AmEx does the internal accounting that sends points off to whichever program the card is enrolled in.

      This

  • Anyone know of any current codes for non Amex?

  • Is there anything like this for Jetstar and the banks?

I just followed this link to book some Brisbane flights and after checking via skyscanner, it seems Qantas currently have a sale on which is giving you a better discount. I can't see it on the QANTAS site, however make sure you cross check the price on the flight before you commit. My QANTAS booking with teh cheaper deal was via Skiddoo.

    • I checked via skyscanner too and found skiddoo the cheapest and like $50 cheaper than qantas website for return Brisbane flights from Melbourne. I booked mine yesterday.

  • Can anyone confirm if discount still applies for non Velocity Amex?

    • +1

Why don’t you try and let us know?

  • Virgin defines inflation differently to the whole world. Its Velocity points has been devalued too fast compared to other currency!

  • worked for me, great discount thanks mate

paid with poli too (bank account) for no fees too
