Pioneer AVH-ZL5150BT Multimedia Player: $629 + Free RCAMAVIC + Free Freight (Was $708) @ Frankies Auto Electrics

70
FREEFREIGHT

Been watching the 200mm widescreen decks for a while now and this deck has dropped to its lowest price of $629. Pay $699+ elsewhere, possibly without a camera.

200mm decks are made to replace factory Toyota decks. Double DIN AVH-Z5150BT is also available.

While the deal did not excite OzB too much last time, it is an excellent deck and a cheaper option than last year's Kenwoods.

Title says $635, description says $629.

    • Thanks. All fixed. I shouldn't post deals from my phone

Should be associated as per previous 'deal'

    • Why? I'm a customer. Actually I'm not even that. I'm a potential customer. There isn't even anything to suggest I work there

Tempting but think Ill wait until they come with wireless Android Auto…

  • Yeah man sweet decks, that deck is rad. Nice deck!

enjoying full HD video via USB while your parked up.

The new Z-Series receivers can play Full HD (1080p) video

Once again this is super misleading.
It's clearly been written this way to deliberate mislead customers into thinking this has a 1080p screen.

Don't know why some negged you. It is definitely misleading marketing. It should say transcoded 1080p or something similar. Kenwood have only just released 720p decks. 1080p isn't even available with Chinese decks

      • Does anyone know why?

The SoCs are more than powerful enough for responsive 1080p, the LCD screens definitely exists, both combinations are often seen in tablets, they don't overheat either, and the Chinese brands love nothing more than 1-upping each other with every infinitesimally bigger number to advertise.

  • Can I Watch YouTube Vidoes and Play MP4 files from my iPhone on this?

Also it says it will fit most Toyota’s, I have a new 2017 Toyota Camry, will this be a plug and play to fit my current dash.

    • +1

Apple car play does not support video playback. Some decks support mirroring which should achieve what you want

The deck is a Toyota standard 200mm widescreen size but most vehicles would need a fascia kit. Some of these kits would allow the standard double DIN as well as 200mm. The loom itself is plug n play. Unfortunately I can't give you a specific answer for your vehicle regarding the kit

  • Anyone tried installing one of these, 2023 Corolla hatch if relevant…

    • Probably too soon for the 2023 model =)

Sorry which year? I have a Caldina which shares similarities to corolla of the same year

      • Argh 2013…I suck at writing on my phone

        • Screwing up on the phone is my gig. Did it earlier when posting this deal

To fit any aftermarket deck you need a facia kit like this

          Frankies sell them too

This will give you the option of installing either a standard double DIN head unit or a 200mm headunit. I prefer the look of the widescreen 200mm and has that factory looking fit but double DIN gives you far more options. You won't need to purchase a loom or steering wheel adapter if purchasing a 200mm deck. It is plug and play in that regards

  • Wait for a 30% off sale and get the Kenwood DDX918WS. Has a 720p HD screen, and the deck is actually designed for right-hand drive vehicles.

When have you seen 30% sales? Best I've seen are 20% off eBay sales. Genuinely interested
