[QLD] Gerni 105.5 Pressure Washer $79 @ Bunnings (Bethania) Special Buy

140

Saw a pallet of these out the front of the tools section next to the vacuum cleaners. Could not find them listed in online catalogue. The cheapest listed in the catalogue was the Gerni 110.5 for $129.

UPDATE: Although not listed on the online site, based on the comments below, it appears to be a nation-wide sale.

  • I have had Karchers and they don't last , bought a gerni 3 years ago and it's fine.
Aldi had a patio cleaner on sale, an attachment for water blasters, I have the Gerni version and it's great for a timber deck and pebble driveway. Aldis one said it had adapters for different brand pressure cleaners.

I have had Karchers and they do last. Why do you think they have such a large market share?

      • Just saying, the cheaper model we had failed after two years of not a lot of use, bought another and the same again. my parents had the same thing with theirs and my sister also had one that failed under warranty that's proof enough for me that they don't last.
The Gerni has been great in comparison.

Gerni is a great brand, that's why Gerni is the general name used for any water pressure brand.

If you've had no probs with the karcher, good luck to you then.

And plenty of people have had Gerni's fail as well.

And many would say the same about the Karcher.

If Gerni is such a great brand why do they only have a small part of the market? And only some people incorrectly use the Gerni name when taking about pressure cleaners.

I'm not the only one. The cheaper machines from Gerni and Karcher are similar in quality.

Nilfisk who own Gerni has a much much lower market share

          Revenue EUR 918 million (2014)
          Number of employees 5,500

          Revenue $2.84 billion (2014)
Number of employees more than 11,138 (December 2014)
          Sold over 12 million machines

        • @Maverick-au:

I'm not arguing. I am just saying the facts, for us Kirchner failed many times, gerni has not failed. That's good enough proof for me to stick with gerni.

I have no interest in how the companies finances are.

  • You need at least 1600 PSI for decent grime removal. Pass on this one.

  • This is only good to rinse the car after washing

    • How about the 120.5 1740psi. Good for wash car?

      • Why not, start further away if you worried about damaging paint. Once you get to a distance where the water beads off easily, keep the same distance all round.

Anything over 1900-2000 will damage paint if close to car

        • Thanks

I just bought it and am VERY happy. I used it to high pressure clean the driveway (which I didn't realise was so black looking until the layer of grime was removed). I then attached the detergent attachment and soaped up the car and the finally the third attachment to wash it off. It DEFINITELY degrimed the driveway!

Note I also bought the Ozito one for $49 a few weeks back, but had to take it back as it had a fault. Been miserable ever since as they had none left to replace it. But now…SO happy, this is a much better (although very similar) unit.

Glad to see someone finally posting deals from my local Bunnings
Keep up the good work champion!!

  • Spotted at Wollongong store, so likely Australia wide.

  • Found their 2016 ad. 105.5 was $98 at Bunnings by that time. Basically it is $19 saving.

  • Let us know when the Gerni 120.5 kit is on sale again. That's the one I want…

  • Its Countrywide I think.

Grabbed one from Sydney this morning (Atarmon)
